It always has a laryngeal intonation, ei?.\no between o and u long.\n\u00fc mouth in i position, lips in u position (short).\nw, y as in English.\nVery long and very short vowels are indicated by the macron and breve respectively.\nThe diphthongs are formed by combining any of the vowels with i and u.
