Unto Jehovah, to the true God. For the Heathens had, many of them, some knowledge of the true God. \n Psalms 107:7\n \n psa 107:7\nForth - Out of the wilderness. \n Psalms 107:10\n \n psa 107:10\nDarkness - In dark prisons or dungeons. \n Psalms 107:12\n \n psa 107:12\nHeart - The pride and obstinacy of their hearts. Fell - They fell into hopeless miseries. \n Psalms 107:17\n \n psa 107:17\nAfflicted - With sickness. \n Psalms 107:20\n \n psa 107:20\nWord - His command, or blessing. \n Psalms 107:32\n \n psa 107:32\nExalt him - In public assemblies, and before all persons, as they have opportunity. Elders - The magistrates or rulers; let them not be ashamed nor afraid to speak of God's wonderful works, before the greatest of men. \n Psalms 107:33\n \n psa 107:33\nRivers - Those grounds which are well watered, and therefore fruitful. And so the water - springs, here, and the standing water, Psa 107:35 are taken. Into - Into a dry ground, which is like a parched and barren wilderness. \n Psalms 107:34\n \n psa 107:34\nFor - He doth not inflict these judgments without cause, but for the punishment of sin in some, and the prevention of it in others. \n Psalms 107:35\n \n psa 107:35\nWater - Into a well - watered and fruitful land. \n Psalms 107:36\n \n psa 107:36\nHungry - Poor people who could not provide for themselves. \n Psalms 107:39\n \n psa 107:39\nThey - These men, who when they are exalted by God, grow insolent and secure. Low - By God's just judgment. \n Psalms 107:40\n \n psa 107:40\nContempt - Renders them despicable.
