(Heb. 11:17.)\n94.\nKETURAH WAS ABRAHAM'S WIFE.\nThen again Abraham took a wife, and her name was Keturah. (Gen. 25:1.)\nKETURAH WAS ABRAHAM'S CONCUBINE.\nThe sons of Keturah, Abraham's concubine. (1 Chron. 1:32.)\n95.\nABRAHAM BEGAT A SON WHEN HE WAS A HUNDRED YEARS OLD, BY THE INTERPOSITION OF PROVIDENCE.\nSarah conceived and bare Abraham a son in his old age, at the set time of which God had spoken to him. (Gen. 21:2.)\nAnd being not weak in the faith, he considered not his own body, now dead, when he was a hundred years old. (Rom. 4:19.)\nTherefore sprang there even from one, and him as good as dead, so many as the stars of the sky. (Acts 7:16.)\n97.\nGOD PROMISED THE LAND OF CANAAN TO ABRAHAM AND HIS SEED FOREVER.\nAnd the Lord said unto Abraham, after Lot was separated from him, Lift up now thine eyes and look from the place where thou art, northward and southward, and eastward and westward; for all the land which thou seest, to thee will I give it and to thy seed forever. . . . For I will give it unto thee. . . . Unto thee and to thy seed after thee. (Gen. 13:14,15,17;&17:8.)\nABRAHAM AND HIS SEED NEVER RECEIVED THE PROMISED LAND.\nAnd he gave him [Abraham] none inheritance in it, no, not so much as to set his foot on. (Acts 7:5.)\nBy faith he sojourned in the land of promise as in a strange country, dwelling in tents with Isaac and Jacob, the heirs with him of the same promise. . . . These all died in faith, not having received the promises.
