{"collection":"Bible & Christianity","html_url":"https://unchartedknowledge.5gfusion.net/browse/bib/jps/num07.htm","path":"bib/jps/num07.htm","source_url":"https://sacred-texts.com/bib/jps/num07.htm","text":"1 And it came to pass on the day that Moses had made an end of setting up the tabernacle, and had anointed it and sanctified it, and all the furniture thereof, and the altar and all the vessels thereof, and had anointed them and sanctified them;\n2 that the princes of Israel, the heads of their fathers' houses, offered--these were the princes of the tribes, these are they that were over them that were numbered.\n3 And they brought their offering before HaShem, six covered wagons, and twelve oxen: a wagon for every two of the princes, and for each one an ox; and they presented them before the tabernacle.\n4 And HaShem spoke unto Moses, saying:\n5 'Take it of them, that they may be to do the service of the tent of meeting; and thou shalt give them unto the Levites, to every man according to his service.'\n6 And Moses took the wagons and the oxen, and gave them unto the Levites.\n7 Two wagons and four oxen he gave unto the sons of Gershon, according to their service.\n8 And four wagons and eight oxen he gave unto the sons of Merari, according unto their service, under the hand of Ithamar the son of Aaron the priest.\n9 But unto the sons of Kohath he gave none, because the service of the holy things belonged unto them: they bore them upon their shoulders.\n10 And the princes brought the dedication-offering of the altar in the day that it was anointed, even the princes brought their offering before the altar.\n11 And HaShem said unto Moses: 'They shall present their offering each prince on his day, for the dedication of the altar.'\n12 And he that presented his offering the first day was Nahshon the son of Amminadab, of the tribe of Judah;\n13 and his offering was one silver dish, the weight thereof was a hundred and thirty shekels, one silver basin of seventy shekels, after the shekel of the sanctuary; both of them full of fine flour mingled with oil for a meal-offering;\n14 one golden pan of ten shekels, full of incense;\n15 one young bullock, one ram, one he-lamb of the first year, for a burnt-offering;\n16 one male of the goats for a sin-offering;\n17 and for the sacrifice of peace-offerings, two oxen, five rams, five he-goats, five he-lambs of the first year. This was the offering of Nahshon the son of Amminadab.\n18 On the second day Nethanel the son of Zuar, prince of Issachar, did offer:\n19 he presented for his offering one silver dish, the weight thereof was a hundred and thirty shekels, one silver basin of seventy shekels, after the shekel of the sanctuary; both of them full of fine flour mingled with oil for a meal-offering;\n20 one golden pan of ten shekels, full of incense;\n21 one young bullock, one ram, one he-lamb of the first year, for a burnt-offering;\n22 one male of the goats for a sin-offering;\n23 and for the sacrifice of peace-offerings, two oxen, five rams, five he-goats, five he-lambs of the first year. This was the offering of Nethanel the son of Zuar.\n24 On the third day Eliab the son of Helon, prince of the children of Zebulun:\n25 his offering was one silver dish, the weight thereof was a hundred and thirty shekels, one silver basin of seventy shekels, after the shekel of the sanctuary; both of them full of fine flour mingled with oil for a meal-offering;\n26 one golden pan of ten shekels, full of incense;\n27 one young bullock, one ram, one he-lamb of the first year, for a burnt-offering;\n28 one male of the goats for a sin-offering;\n29 and for the sacrifice of peace-offerings, two oxen, five rams, five he-goats, five he-lambs of the first year. This was the offering of Eliab the son of Helon.\n30 On the fourth day Elizur the son of Shedeur, prince of the children of Reuben:\n31 his offering was one silver dish, the weight thereof was a hundred and thirty shekels, one silver basin of seventy shekels, after the shekel of the sanctuary; both of them full of fine flour mingled with oil for a meal-offering;\n32 one golden pan of ten shekels, full of incense;\n33 one young bullock, one ram, one he-lamb of the first year, for a burnt-offering;\n34 one male of the goats for a sin-offering;\n35 and for the sacrifice of peace-offerings, two oxen, five rams, five he-goats, five he-lambs of the first year. This was the offering of Elizur the son of Shedeur.\n36 On the fifth day Shelumiel the son of Zurishaddai, prince of the children of Simeon:\n37 his offering was one silver dish, the weight thereof was a hundred and thirty shekels, one silver basin of seventy shekels, after the shekel of the sanctuary; both of them full of fine flour mingled with oil for a meal-offering;\n38 one golden pan of ten shekels, full of incense;\n39 one young bullock, one ram, one he-lamb of the first year, for a burnt-offering;\n40 one male of the goats for a sin-offering;\n41 and for the sacrifice of peace-offerings, two oxen, five rams, five he-goats, five he-lambs of the first year. This was the offering of Shelumiel the son of Zurishaddai.\n42 On the sixth day Eliasaph the son of Deuel, prince of the children of Gad:\n43 his offering was one silver dish, the weight thereof was a hundred and thirty shekels, one silver basin of seventy shekels, after the shekel of the sanctuary; both of them full of fine flour mingled with oil for a meal-offering;\n44 one golden pan of ten shekels, full of incense;\n45 one young bullock, one ram, one he-lamb of the first year, for a burnt-offering;\n46 one male of the goats for a sin-offering;\n47 and for the sacrifice of peace-offerings, two oxen, five rams, five he-goats, five he-lambs of the first year. This was the offering of Eliasaph the son of Deuel.\n48 On the seventh day Elishama the son of Ammihud, prince of the children of Ephraim:\n49 his offering was one silver dish, the weight thereof was a hundred and thirty shekels, one silver basin of seventy shekels, after the shekel of the sanctuary; both of them full of fine flour mingled with oil for a meal-offering;\n50 one golden pan of ten shekels, full of incense;\n51 one young bullock, one ram, one he-lamb of the first year, for a burnt-offering;\n52 one male of the goats for a sin-offering;\n53 and for the sacrifice of peace-offerings, two oxen, five rams, five he-goats, five he-lambs of the first year. This was the offering of Elishama the son of Ammihud.\n54 On the eighth day Gamaliel the son of Pedahzur, prince of the children of Manasseh:\n55 his offering was one silver dish, the weight thereof was a hundred and thirty shekels, one silver basin of seventy shekels, after the shekel of the sanctuary; both of them full of fine flour mingled with oil for a meal-offering;\n56 one golden pan of ten shekels, full of incense;\n57 one young bullock, one ram, one he-lamb of the first year, for a burnt-offering;\n58 one male of the goats for a sin-offering;\n59 and for the sacrifice of peace-offerings, two oxen, five rams, five he-goats, five he-lamb of the first year. This was the offering of Gamaliel the son of Pedahzur.\n60 On the ninth day Abidan the son of Gideoni, prince of the children of Benjamin:\n61 his offering was one silver dish, the weight thereof was a hundred and thirty shekels, one silver basin of seventy shekels, after the shekel of the sanctuary; both of them full of fine flour mingled with oil for a meal-offering;\n62 one golden pan of ten shekels, full of incense;\n63 one young bullock, one ram, one he-lamb of the first year, for a burnt-offering;\n64 one male of the goats for a sin-offering;\n65 and for the sacrifice of peace-offerings, two oxen, five rams, five he-goats, five he-lambs of the first year. This was the offering of Abidan the son of Gideoni.\n66 On the tenth day Ahiezer the son of Ammishaddai, prince of the children of Dan:\n67 his offering was one silver dish, the weight thereof was a hundred and thirty shekels, one silver basin of seventy shekels, after the shekel of the sanctuary; both of them full of fine flour mingled with oil for a meal-offering;\n68 one golden pan of ten shekels, full of incense;\n69 one young bullock, one ram, one he-lamb of the first year, for a burnt-offering;\n70 one male of the goats for a sin-offering;\n71 and for the sacrifice of peace-offerings, two oxen, five rams, five he-goats, five he-lambs of the first year. This was the offering of Ahiezer the son of Ammishaddai.\n72 On the eleventh day Pagiel the son of Ochran, prince of the children of Asher:\n73 his offering was one silver dish, the weight thereof was a hundred and thirty shekels, one silver basin of seventy shekels, after the shekel of the sanctuary; both of them full of fine flour mingled with oil for a meal-offering;\n74 one golden pan of ten shekels, full of incense;\n75 one young bullock, one ram, one he-lamb of the first year, for a burnt-offering;\n76 one male of the goats for a sin-offering;\n77 and for the sacrifice of peace-offerings, two oxen, five rams, five he-goats, five he-lambs of the first year. This was the offering of Pagiel the son of Ochran.\n78 On the twelfth day Ahira the son of Enan, prince of the children of Naphtali:\n79 his offering was one silver dish, the weight thereof was a hundred and thirty shekels, one silver basin of seventy shekels, after the shekel of the sanctuary; both of them full of fine flour mingled with oil for a meal-offering;\n80 one golden pan of ten shekels, full of incense;\n81 one young bullock, one ram, one he-lamb of the first year, for a burnt-offering;\n82 one male of the goats for a sin-offering;\n83 and for the sacrifice of peace-offerings, two oxen, five rams, five he-goats, five he-lambs of the first year. This was the offering of Ahira the son of Enan.\n84 This was the dedication-offering of the altar, in the day when it was anointed, at the hands of the princes of Israel: twelve silver dishes, twelve silver basins, twelve golden pans;\n85 each silver dish weighing a hundred and thirty shekels, and each basin seventy; all the silver of the vessels two thousand and four hundred shekels, after the shekel of the sanctuary;\n86 twelve golden pans, full of incense, weighing ten shekels apiece, after the shekel of the sanctuary; all the gold of the pans a hundred and twenty shekels;\n87 all the oxen for the burnt-offering twelve bullocks, the rams twelve, the he-lambs of the first year twelve, and their meal-offering; and the males of the goats for a sin-offering twelve;\n88 and all the oxen for the sacrifice of peace-offerings twenty and four bullocks, the rams sixty, the he-goats sixty, the he-lambs of the first year sixty. This was the dedication-offering of the altar, after that it was anointed.\n89 And when Moses went into the tent of meeting that He might speak with him, then he heard the Voice speaking unto him from above the ark-cover that was upon the ark of the testimony, from between the two cherubim; and He spoke unto him.","title":"Numbers 7","type":"page"}
