Cattle were driven\n | through it's ashes to ensure good milk yield.\n | It was also a time when the High Priest and\n | High Priestess would share in the Great Rite, Blessing\n | the fields and flocks with the Power raised to ensure\n | fertility and bounty. Couples drifted from the Circle\n | to make love in the fields to add to and share in\n | the Blessings.\n | This year we are doubly blessed.
