May he deliver\n \u00a0\u00a0\u00a0us from grief and trouble.\n 2As thou conveyest offerings, J\u0101tavedas! and fashionest the sacri-\n \u00a0\u00a0\u00a0fice with knowledge,\n \u00a0\u00a0So bear thou to the Gods the prayer we utter. May he deliver\n \u00a0\u00a0\u00a0us from grief and trouble.\n 3I pray to Agni in each act successful, employed in every sacrifice,\n \u00a0\u00a0\u00a0the strongest,\n \u00a0\u00a0Fiend-slayer, served with fatness, strengthening worship.
