Griffith, [1895]\n1As a good cow to him who milks, we call the doer of fair deeds.\n \u00a0\u00a0To our assistance day by day.\n 2Come thou to our libations, drink of Soma, Soma-drinker thou!\n \u00a0\u00a0The rich One's rapture giveth kine.\n 3So may we be acquainted with thine innermost benevolence:\n \u00a0\u00a0Neglect us not, come hitherward.\n 4Drink for our help the Soma bright, vigilant, and exceeding\n \u00a0\u00a0\u00a0strong,\n \u00a0\u00a0O Indra, Lord of Hundred Powers.\n 5O Satakratu, powers which thou mid the Five Races hast dis-\n \u00a0\u00a0\u00a0played,\n \u00a0\u00a0These, Indra, do I claim of thee.\n 6Indra, great glory hast thou gained.
