Griffith, [1895]\n1May Sovran Indra come to the carousal, he who by holy Law is\n \u00a0\u00a0\u00a0strong and active.\n \u00a0\u00a0The overcomer of all conquering forces with his great bull-like\n \u00a0\u00a0\u00a0power that hath no limit.\n 2Firm-seated is thy car, thy steeds are docile: thy hand, O King,\n \u00a0\u00a0\u00a0holds, firmly grasped, the thunder.\n \u00a0\u00a0On thy fair path, O Lord of men, come quickly: we will increase\n \u00a0\u00a0\u00a0thy power when thou hast drunken.\n 3Let strong and mighty steeds who bear this mighty Indra, the\n \u00a0\u00a0Lord of men, whose arm wields thunder,\n \u00a0\u00a0Bring unto us, as shares of our banquet, the Bull of conquering\n \u00a0\u00a0\u00a0might, of real vigour.\n 4So like a bull thou rushest to the Lord who loves the trough,\n \u00a0\u00a0\u00a0the Sage, the prop of vigour, in the vat.\n \u00a0\u00a0Prepare thine energies, collect them in thyself: be for our profit\n \u00a0\u00a0\u00a0as the Master of the wise.\n 5May precious treasures come to us,\u2014 so will I pray.
