BE gathered all the audience of the synod: let us begin their praise whose course is rapid.\n Whate\u2019er God Savitar this day produces, may we be where the Wealthy One distributes.\n 2 This, dealt from heaven ' may both the Worlds vouchsafe us, and Varu\u1e47a, Indra, Aryaman, and Mitra.\n May Goddess Aditi assign us riches, V\u0101yu and Bhaga make them ours for ever.\n 3 Strong be the man and full of power, O Maruts, whom ye, borne on by spotted coursers, favour.\n Him, too, Sarasvat\u012b and Agni further, and there is none to rob him of his riches.\n 4 This Varu\u1e47a is guide of Law, he, Mitra, and Aryaman, the Kings, our work have finished.\n Divine and foeless Aditi quickly listens. May these deliver us unharmed from trouble.\n 5 With offerings I propitiate the branches of this swift-moving God, the bounteous Vi\u1e63\u1e47u.\n Hence Rudra gained his Rudra-strength: O A\u015bvins, ye sought the house that hath celestial viands.\n 6 Be not thou angry here, O glowing P\u016b\u1e63an, for what Var\u016btr\u012b and the Bounteous gave us.\n May the swift-moving Gods protect and bless us, and V\u0101ta send us rain, wha wanders round us.\n 7 Now have both worlds been praised by the Vasisthas, and holy Mitra, Varu\u1e47a, and Agni.\n May they, bright Deities, make our song supremest.
