Then \u015aavas\u012b declared to him Aur\u1e47av\u0101bha, Ah\u012b\u015buva:\n Son, these be they thou must o\u2019erthrow\n 3 The V\u1e5btra-slayer smote them all as spokes are hammered into naves:\n The Dasyu-killer waxed in might.\n 4 Then Indra at a single draught drank the contents of thirty pails,\n Pails that were filled with Soma juice.\n 5 Indra in groundless realms of space pierced the Gandharva through, that he\n Might make Brahmans' strength increase.\n 6 Down from the mountains Indra shot hither his well-directed shaft:\n He gained the ready brew of rice.\n 7 One only is that shaft of thine, with thousand feathers, hundred barbs,\n Which, Indra, thou hast made thy friend.\n 8 Strong as the \u1e5abhus at thy birth, therewith to those who praise thee, men,\n And women, bring thou food to eat.\n 9 By thee these exploits were achieved, the mightiest deeds, abundantly:\n Firm in thy heart thou settest them.\n 10 All these things Vi\u1e63\u1e47u brought, the Lord of ample stride whom thou hadst sent-\n A hundred buffaloes, a brew of rice and milk: and Indra, slew the ravening boar\n 11 Most deadly is thy bow, successful, fashioned well: good is thine arrow, decked with gold.\n Warlike and well equipped thine arms are, which increase sweetness for him who drinks the sweet.","title":"Rig Veda: Rig-Veda, Book 8: HYMN LXVI.
