Here now, if he makes oblations over the (sacred) fire, this is the sacrifice to the Gods.\nIf he makes Bali offerings, this is the sacrifice to the Beings.\nIf he gives (Pinda offerings) to the Fathers, this is the sacrifice to the Fathers.\nIf he studies (Vedic) texts, this is the sacrifice to Brahman.\nIf he gives to men, this is the sacrifice to men.\n4.
