In the chapter of Al-Baqarah, the Exalted says: And when Abraham and Ishmael were raising the\nfoundations of the House, (Abraham prayed): Our Lord! Accept from us\n(this duty). Lo! Thou, only Thou, art the Hearer, the Knower.\nOur Lord! And make us submissive unto Thee and of our seed a nation\nsubmissive unto Thee, and show us our ways of worship, and relent\ntoward us. Lo! Thou, only Thou, art the Relenting, the\nMerciful(Al-Baqarah:127-128) In the chapter of \u00c2l-`Imr\u00e2n: Lo! the first Sanctuary appointed for mankind was that\nat Becca, a blessed place, a guidance to the\npeoples(\u00c2l-`Imr\u00e2n:96). In the chapter of Ibr\u00e2him: And when Abraham said: My Lord! Make safe this\nterritory, and preserve me and my sons from serving\nidols(Ibr\u00e2him:35). In the chapter of Al-Haj:\u00a0 And (remember) when We prepared for Abraham the place\nof the (holy) House, saying: Ascribe thou no thing as partner unto Me,\nand purify My House for those who make the round (thereof) and those\nwho stand and those who bow and make prostration(Al-Haj:26), so follow\n(read)\u00a0 and notice\u00a0 (think).\nWe've pointed out that the story of Abraham (PUH) is connected to other\nstories like the story of Lot, and the story of his son Ishmael and the\nstory of his son Isaac, and we've mentioned that Lot was his maternal\ncousin and also\u00a0 his nephew and they were in the same time\u00a0\nsequence, and Lot believed in his uncle Abraham and so he was calling\npeople to his religion. The Exalted said: And\nLot believed him, and said: Lo! I am a fugitive unto my\nLord(Al-`Ankabut:26). They say that Ishmael was born when Abraham was\neighty six years old, and Abraham lived for one hundred and seventy\nfive years, while Isaac was born\u00a0 while Abraham was\u00a0 one\nhundred years old and his mother is Sarah the maternal cousin of\nAbraham.\nThey say that Abraham (PUH) got another six children from other woman\nother than Sarah and Hagar, but quran did not mention apparently except\nishmael and Isaac. Torah mentioned that Abraham married a woman called\nKeturah [Arabic: Qaturah] and she gave birth for six children for him,\nand it mentioned their names but there is no need to mention them now\nbecause it has no effects. In Muruj Al-\u00d0ahab for Al-Mas`udi he\nsaid: After Sarah's death, Abraham married Qantur\u00e2' [just another\nvariation of the name] and he had six children from her and they are\nMarq, Nafas, Madan, Midian, Sin\u00e2n and Sereh [Hebrew: Zimran,\nJokshan, Medan, Midian, Ishbak, Shuah].\nLot was mentioned in fourteen chapters in holy quran: Al-An`\u00e2m,\nAl-A`r\u00e2f, Hud, Al-Hijr, AL-Anbiy\u00e2', Al-Haj,\nAl-Shu`ar\u00e2', Al-Naml, Al-`Ankabut, Al-S\u00e2ff\u00e2t,\nS\u00e2d, Al-Qamar, Al-Tahreem. Isaac was mentioned in eight chapters:\nAl-Baqarah, \u00c2l-`Imr\u00e2n, Al-Nis\u00e2', Al-An`\u00e2m,\nIbr\u00e2him, Mariam, Al-Anbiy\u00e2', S\u00e2d. Their stories are\nmentioned in quran either in details or in brief, sometimes mentioning\nonly some of their matters, and in some others more than that, and most\nof the prophets and viceroys are mentioned in that way. They mentioned\nthat Ishmael lived for one hundred and thirty seven years, and we've\nmentioned that he died in Mecca and been buried there in the place that\nis known as Hajar Isma`eel, that is the one located near by the Holy\nhouse, with his mother, and this is the most popular.\nIt is mentioned that Ishmael had twelve sons, and some of them are:\nHad\u00e2r, Tayyim, Mibs\u00e2m, Dawmah, Qidmah and Qayd\u00e2r, and\nthey are mentioned in Genesis in Torah [The full list of names in Torah\nis: Nebaioth, Kedar, Adbeel, Mibsam, Mishma, Dumah, Massa, Hadad,\nTemah, Jetur, Naphish, Kedemah], and they mentioned that all of them\nstarted tribes of their own, and only God knows. Until now we did not\nfind a specific way of how Abraham died and quran did not mention how,\nbut Torah mentioned that. In summary, Abraham (PUH) lived for one\nhundred and seventy five years. In Muruj Al-\u00d0ahab for Al-Mas`udi:\nAbraham died in the lands of Shem, and his age was at that time one\nhundred and ninty five years, and God revealed upon him ten books.
