{"collection":"Islam","html_url":"https://unchartedknowledge.5gfusion.net/browse/isl/pro/jes10.htm","path":"isl/pro/jes10.htm","source_url":"https://sacred-texts.com/isl/pro/jes10.htm","text":"Sacred Texts\u00a0\nIslam\u00a0\nIndex\u00a0\nPrevious\u00a0\nNext\u00a0\nGospel of John\nThe matter of the gospel of John is even the weirdest of all, and as it\nis said, lot of christians thought that John, the author of this gospel,\nis in fact one of the twelve apostles of the Messiah and he is the son\nof Zabdi the fisherman and he was born in Sayda (Sidon), one of Al-Jaleel's\n(Galilee's) villages, and he was the one that was most beloved by Jesus\nthe son of Mary, but they mentioned that there was a group of people that\nused to tell the christians and warn them that the Messiah is only a human\nand he was not founded before his mother Mary, and for this a group of\nbishops gathered in 96A.D. mostly from the bishops of Asia and some others,\nall of them gathered themselves at John's place and asked him to write\nabout the Messiah and call for a gospel that was not written by others\nbefore, and to write especially about the divinity of the Messiah, so he\ncouldn't deny and answered their request, and the christians were confused\nabout the year that John wrote his gospel in, some say it was 65A.D. and\nothers say it was 96A.D. and some say it was 98A.D. and lot of christian\nscholars denied that this gospel was written by John the one that followed\nJesus, but it was made by a pupil in Alexandria, and a lot was written\nabout that, notice page 401 and 402 from the tales of `Abdul-Wah\u00e2b\nAl-Najj\u00e2r, and it was only attributed to John just to make people\nbelieve in it, and that gospel was made of twenty chapters and then after\nthe death of John, the church of Af\u00e2s added the twenty first chapter,\ncheck the first part of Al-F\u00e2riq Bayn Al-Makhlooq W'Al-Kh\u00e2liq\npage 341 and 342, and from all of that it is now known that this gospel\nwas only written for a special purpose and that is to prove the divinity\nof the Messiah and to cut of the teachings that tell that he is only a\nhuman and not a god, and from this point did the gospels differ because\nthe people who made them had different purposes and opinions, and if you\nwant to check the truth and how they are different you can check the book\nof Al-F\u00e2riq Bayn Al-Makhlooq W'Al-Kh\u00e2liq, and also Izh\u00e2r\nAl-Haq [showing the truth] by Rahmatullah Al-Hindi, and also the book of\nHid\u00e2yat Al-Hiy\u00e2r\u00e2 [the guidance of the buffled] by Ibn\nAl-Qayyim.
