Ya banee isra-eela othkuroo niAAmatiya allatee anAAamtu AAalaykum waawfoo biAAahdee oofi biAAahdikum wa-iyyaya fairhabooni\n40. O Children of Israel! call to mind\n The (special) favour which I bestowed\n Upon you, and fulfil your Covenants\n With Me as I fulfil My Covenant\n With you, and fear none but Me.\n41. Waaminoo bima anzaltu musaddiqan lima maAAakum wala takoonoo awwala kafirin bihi wala tashtaroo bi-ayatee thamanan qaleelan wa-iyyaya faittaqooni\n41. And believe in what I reveal,\n Confirming the revelation\n Which is with you,\n And be not the first to reject\n Faith therein, nor sell My Signs\n For a small price; and fear Me,\n And Me alone.\n42. Wala talbisoo alhaqqa bialbatili wataktumoo alhaqqa waantum taAAlamoona\n42. And cover not Truth\n With falsehood, nor conceal\n The Truth when ye know (what it is).\n43. Waaqeemoo alssalata waatoo alzzakata wairkaAAoo maAAa alrrakiAAeena\n43. And be steadfast in prayer;\n Practise regular charity;\n And bow down your heads\n With those who bow down (in worship).\n44. Ata/muroona alnnasa bialbirri watansawna anfusakum waantum tatloona alkitaba afala taAAqiloona\n44. Do ye enjoin right conduct\n On the people, and forget\n (To practise it) yourselves,\n And yet ye study the Scripture?\n Will ye not understand?\n45. WaistaAAeenoo bialssabri waalssalati wa-innaha lakabeeratun illa AAala alkhashiAAeena\n45. Nay, seek (God's) help\n With patient perseverance\n And prayer:\n It is indeed hard, except\n To those who bring a lowly spirit,\u2014\n46. Allatheena yathunnoona annahum mulaqoo rabbihim waannahum ilayhi rajiAAoona\n46.
