Waman yarghabu AAan millati ibraheema illa man safiha nafsahu walaqadi istafaynahu fee alddunya wa-innahu fee al-akhirati lamina alssaliheena\n130. And who turns away\n From the religion of Abraham\n But such as debase their souls\n With folly? Him We chose\n And rendered pure in this world:\n And he will be in the Hereafter\n In the ranks of the Righteous.\n131. Ith qala lahu rabbuhu aslim qala aslamtu lirabbi alAAalameena\n131. Behold! his Lord said\n To him: \"Bow (thy will to Me):\"\n He said: \"I bow (my will)\n To the Lord and Cherisher\n Of the Universe.\"\n132. Wawassa biha ibraheemu baneehi wayaAAqoobu ya baniyya inna Allaha istafa lakumu alddeena fala tamootunna illa waantum muslimoona\n132. And this was the legacy\n That Abraham left to his sons,\n And so did Jacob;\n \"Oh my sons! God hath chosen\n The Faith for you; then die not\n Except in the Faith of Islam.\"\n133. Am kuntum shuhadaa ith hadara yaAAqooba almawtu ith qala libaneehi ma taAAbudoona min baAAdee qaloo naAAbudu ilahaka wa-ilaha aba-ika ibraheema wa-ismaAAeela wa-ishaqa ilahan wahidan wanahnu lahu muslimoona\n133. Were ye witnesses\n When Death appeared before Jacob?\n Behold, he said to his sons:\n \"What will ye worship after me?\"\n They said: \"We shall worship\nThy God and the God of thy fathers,\u2014\n Of Abraham, Ism\u0101'\u012bl, and Isaac,\u2014\n The One (True) God:\n To Him we bow (in Islam).\"\n134. Tilka ommatun qad khalat laha ma kasabat walakum ma kasabtum wala tus-aloona AAamma kano yaAAmaloona\n134. That was a People that hath\n Passed away. They shall reap\n The fruit of what they did,\n And ye of what ye do!\n Of their merits\n There is no question in your case!\n135. Waqaloo koonoo hoodan aw nasara tahtadoo qul bal millata ibraheema haneefan wama kana mina almushrikeena\n135. They say: \"Become Jews\n Or Christians if ye would be guided\n (To salvation).\" Say thou:\n \"Nay! (I would rather) the Religion\n Of Abraham the True,\n And he joined not gods with God.\"\n136. Qooloo amanna biAllahi wama onzila ilayna wama onzila ila ibraheema wa-ismaAAeela wa-ishaqa wayaAAqooba waal-asbati wama ootiya moosa waAAeesa wama ootiya alnnabiyyoona min rabbihim la nufarriqu bayna ahadin minhum wanahnu lahu muslimoona\n136. Say ye: \"We believe\n In God, and the revelation\n Given to us, and to Abraham,\n Ism\u0101'\u012bl, Isaac, Jacob,\n And the Tribes, and that given\n To Moses and Jesus, and that given\n To (all) Prophets from their Lord:\n We make no difference\n Between one and another of them:\n And we bow to God (in Islam).\"\n137. Fa-in amanoo bimithli ma amantum bihi faqadi ihtadaw wa-in tawallaw fa-innama hum fee shiqaqin fasayakfeekahumu Allahu wahuwa alssameeAAu alAAaleemu\n137. So if they believe\n As ye believe, they are indeed\n On the right path; but if\n They turn back, it is they\nWho are in schism; but God will\n Suffice thee as against them,\n And He is the All-Hearing,\n The All-Knowing.\n138. Sibghata Allahi waman ahsanu mina Allahi sibghatan wanahnu lahu AAabidoona\n138. (Our religion is)\n The Baptism of God:\n And who can baptize better\n Than God? And it is He\n Whom we worship.\n139. Qul atuhajjoonana fee Allahi wahuwa rabbuna warabbukum walana aAAmaluna walakum aAAmalukum wanahnu lahu mukhlisoona\n139. Say: Will ye dispute\n With us about God, seeing\n That He is our Lord\n And your Lord; that we\n Are responsible for our doings\n And ye for yours; and that\n We are sincere (in our faith) In him?\n140. Am taqooloona inna ibraheema wa-ismaAAeela wa-ishaqa wayaAAqooba waal-asbata kanoo hoodan aw nasara qul aantum aAAlamu ami Allahu waman athlamu mimman katama shahadatan AAindahu mina Allahi wama Allahu bighafilin AAamma taAAmaloona\n140. Or do ye say that\n Abraham, Ism\u0101'\u012bl, Isaac,\n Jacob and the Tribes were\n Jews or Christians?\n Say: Do ye know better\n Than God? Ah! who\n Is more unjust than those\n Who conceal the testimony\n They have from God?\n But God is not unmindful\n Of what ye do!\n141. Tilka ommatun qad khalat laha ma kasabat walakum ma kasabtum wala tus-aloona AAamma kanoo yaAAmaloona\n141. That was a people that hath\n Passed away.
