Wa-ith ghadawta min ahlika tubawwi-o almu/mineena maqaAAida lilqitali waAllahu sameeAAun AAaleemun\n121. Remember that morning\n Thou didst leave\n Thy household (early)\n To post the Faithful\n At their stations for battle:\n And God heareth\n And knoweth all things:\n122. Ith hammat ta-ifatani minkum an tafshala waAllahu waliyyuhuma waAAala Allahi falyatawakkali almu/minoona\n122. Rememer two of your parties\n Meditated cowardice;\n But God was their protector,\n And in God should the Faithful\n (Ever) put their trust.\n123. Walaqad nasarakumu Allahu bibadrin waantum athillatun faittaqoo Allaha laAAallakum tashkuroona\n123. God had helped you\n At Badr, when ye were\n A contemptible little force;\n Then fear God; thus\n May ye show your gratitude.\n124. Ith taqoolu lilmu/mineena alan yakfiyakum an yumiddakum rabbukum bithalathati alafin mina almala-ikati munzaleena\n124. Remember thou saidst\n To the Faithful: \"Is it not enough\n For you that God should help you\n With three thousand angels\n (Specially) sent down?\n125. Bala in tasbiroo watattaqoo waya/tookum min fawrihim hatha yumdidkum rabbukum bikhamsati alafin mina almala-ikati musawwimeena\n125. \"Yea,\u2014if ye remain firm,\n And act aright, even if\n The enemy should rush here\n On you in hot haste,\n Your Lord would help you\n With five thousand angels\n Making a terrific onslaught.\"\n126. Wama jaAAalahu Allahu illa bushra lakum walitatma-inna quloobukum bihi wama alnnasru illa min AAindi Allahi alAAazeezi alhakeemi\n126. God made it but a message\n Of hope for you, and an assurance\n To your hearts: (in any case)\n There is no help\n Except from God,\n The Exalted, the Wise:\n127. LiyaqtaAAa tarafan mina allatheena kafaroo aw yakbitahum fayanqaliboo kha-ibeena\n127. That He might cut off\n A fringe of the Unbelievers\n Or expose them to infamy,\n And they should then\n Be turned back,\n Frustrated of their purpose.\n128. Laysa laka mina al-amri shay-on aw yatooba AAalayhim aw yuAAaththibahum fa-innahum thalimoona\n128. Not for thee, (but for God),\n Is the decision:\n Whether He turn in mercy\n To them, or punish them;\n For they are indeed wrong-doers.\n129. Walillahi ma fee alssamawati wama fee al-ardi yaghfiru liman yashao wayuAAaththibu man yashao waAllahu ghafoorun raheemun\n129.
