Ya ayyuha allatheena amanoo la taqraboo alssalata waantum sukara hatta taAAlamoo ma taqooloona wala junuban illa AAabiree sabeelin hatta taghtasiloo wa-in kuntum marda aw AAala safarin aw jaa ahadun minkum mina algha-iti aw lamastumu alnnisaa falam tajidoo maan fatayammamoo saAAeedan tayyiban faimsahoo biwujoohikum waaydeekum inna Allaha kana AAafuwwan ghafooran\n43. O ye who believe!\n Approach not prayers\n With a mind befogged,\n Until ye can understand\n All that ye say,\n Nor in a state\n Of ceremonial impurity\n (Except when travelling on the road),\n Until after washing\n Your whole body.\n If ye are ill,\n Or on a journey,\n Or one of you cometh\n From offices of nature,\nOr ye have been\n In contact with women,\n And ye find no water,\n Then take for yourselves\n Clean sand or earth,\n And rub therewith\n Your faces and hands.\n For God doth blot out sins\n And forgive again and again.\n44. Alam tara ila allatheena ootoo naseeban mina alkitabi yashtaroona alddalalata wayureedoona an tadilloo alssabeela\n44. Hast thou not turned\n Thy vision to those\n Who were given a portion\n Of the Book? They traffic\n In error, and wish that ye\n Should lose the right path.\n45. WaAllahu aAAlamu bi-aAAda-ikum wakafa biAllahi waliyyan wakafa biAllahi naseeran\n45. But God hath full knowledge\n Of your enemies:\n God is enough for a Protector,\n And God is enough for a Helper.\n46. Mina allatheena hadoo yuharrifoona alkalima AAan mawadiAAihi wayaqooloona samiAAna waAAasayna waismaAA ghayra musmaAAin waraAAina layyan bi-alsinatihim wataAAnan fee alddeeni walaw annahum qaloo samiAAna waataAAna waismaAA waonthurna lakana khayran lahum waaqwama walakin laAAanahumu Allahu bikufrihim fala yu/minoona illa qaleelan\n46. Of the Jews there are those\n Who displace words\n From their (right) places,\n And say: \"We hear\n And we disobey\";\n And \"Hear what is not\n Heard\"; and \"R\u0101\u2019in\u0101\";\u2014\n With a twist of their tongues\n And a slander to Faith.\n If only they had said:\n \"We hear and we obey;\n And \"Do hear\";\nAnd \"Do look at us\":\n It would have been better\n For them, and more proper;\n But God hath cursed them\n For their Unbelief; and but few\n Of them will believe.\n47. Ya ayyuha allatheena ootoo alkitaba aminoo bima nazzalna musaddiqan lima maAAakum min qabli an natmisa wujoohan fanaruddaha AAala adbariha aw nalAAanahum kama laAAanna as-haba alssabti wakana amru Allahi mafAAoolan\n47. O ye People of the Book!\n Believe in what We\n Have (now) revealed, confirming\n What was (already) with you,\n Before We change the face and fame\n Of some (of you) beyond all recognition,\n And turn them hindwards,\n Or curse them as We cursed\n The Sabbath-breakers,\n For the decision of God\n Must be carried out.\n48. Inna Allaha la yaghfiru an yushraka bihi wayaghfiru ma doona thalika liman yashao waman yushrik biAllahi faqadi iftara ithman AAatheeman\n48. God forgiveth not\n That partners should be set up\n With Him; but He forgiveth\n Anything else, to whom\n He pleaseth; to set up\n Partners with God\n Is to devise a sin\n Most heinous indeed.\n49. Alam tara ila allatheena yuzakkoona anfusahum bali Allahu yuzakkee man yashao wala yuthlamoona fateelan\n49. Hast thou not turned\n Thy vision to those\n Who claim sanctity\n For themselves?\nNay\u2014but God\n Doth sanctify\n Whom He pleaseth.\n But never will they\n Fail to receive justice\n In the least little thing.\n50. Onthur kayfa yaftaroona AAala Allahi alkathiba wakafa bihi ithman mubeenan\n50.
