Alam tara ila allatheena yazAAumoona annahum amanoo bima onzila ilayka wama onzila min qablika yureedoona an yatahakamoo ila alttaghooti waqad omiroo an yakfuroo bihi wayureedu alshshaytanu an yudillahum dalalan baAAeedan\n60. Hast thou not turned\n Thy vision to those\n Who declare that they believe\n In the revelations\n That have come to thee\n And to those before thee?\n Their (real) wish is\n To resort together for judgment\n (In their disputes)\n To the Evil One,\n Though they were ordered\n To reject him.\n But Satan's wish\n Is to lead them astray\n Far away (from the Right).\n61. Wa-itha qeela lahum taAAalaw ila ma anzala Allahu wa-ila alrrasooli raayta almunafiqeena yasuddoona AAanka sudoodan\n61. When it is said to them:\n \"Come to what God hath revealed,\nAnd to the Apostle\":\n Thou seest the Hypocrites avert\n Their faces from thee in disgust.\n62. Fakayfa itha asabat-hum museebatun bima qaddamat aydeehim thumma jaooka yahlifoona biAllahi in aradna illa ihsanan watawfeeqan\n62. How then, when they are\n Seized by misfortune,\n Because of the deeds\n Which their hands have sent forth?\n Then they come to thee,\n Swearing by God:\n \"We meant no more\n Than good-will and conciliation!\"\n63. Ola-ika allatheena yaAAlamu Allahu ma fee quloobihim faaAArid AAanhum waAAithhum waqul lahum fee anfusihim qawlan baleeghan\n63. Those men,\u2014God knows\n What is in their hearts;\n So keep clear of them,ss:\n But admonish them,\n And speak to them a word\n To reach their very souls.\n64. Wama arsalna min rasoolin illa liyutaAAa bi-ithni Allahi walaw annahum ith thalamoo anfusahum jaooka faistaghfaroo Allaha waistaghfara lahumu alrrasoolu lawajadoo Allaha tawwaban raheeman\n64. We sent not an Apostle,\n But to be obeyed, in accordance\n With the Will of God.\n If they had only,\n When they were unjust\n To themselves,\n Come unto thee\n And asked God's forgiveness,\n And the Apostle had asked\n Forgiveness for them,\n They would have found\n God indeed Oft-returning,\n Most Merciful.\n65. Fala warabbika la yu/minoona hatta yuhakkimooka feema shajara baynahum thumma la yajidoo fee anfusihim harajan mimma qadayta wayusallimoo tasleeman\n65. But no, by thy Lord,\n They can have\n No (real) Faith,\n Until they make thee judge\n In all disputes between them,\n And find in their souls\n No resistance against\n Thy decisions, but accept\n Them with the fullest conviction.\n66. Walaw anna katabna AAalayhim ani oqtuloo anfusakum awi okhrujoo min diyarikum ma faAAaloohu illa qaleelun minhum walaw annahum faAAaloo ma yooAAathoona bihi lakana khayran lahum waashadda tathbeetan\n66. If We had ordered them\n To sacrifice their lives\n Or to leave their homes,\n Very few of them\n Would have done it:\n But if they had done\n What they were (actually) told,\n It would have been best\n For them, and would have gone\n Farthest to strengthen their (faith);\n67. Wa-ithan laataynahum min ladunna ajran AAatheeman\n67. And We should then have\n Given them from Our Presence\n A great reward;\n68. Walahadaynahum siratan mustaqeeman\n68. And We should have\n Shown them the Straight Way.\n69. Waman yutiAAi Allaha waalrrasoola faola-ika maAAa allatheena anAAama Allahu AAalayhim mina alnnabiyyeena waalssiddeeqeena waalshshuhada-i waalssaliheena wahasuna ola-ika rafeeqan\n69. All who obey God\n And the Apostle\n Are in the company\n Of those on whom\n Is the Grace of God,\u2014\n Of the Prophets (who teach),\n The Sincere (lovers of Truth),\n The Witnesses (who testify),\n And the Righteous (who do good):\n Ah! what a beautiful Fellowship!\n70. Thalika alfadlu mina Allahi wakafa biAllahi AAaleeman\n70.
