Inna anzalna ilayka alkitaba bialhaqqi litahkuma bayna alnnasi bima araka Allahu wala takun lilkha-ineena khaseeman\n105. We have sent down\n To thee the Book in truth,\n That thou might test judge\n Between men, as guided\n By God: so be not (used)\n As an advocate by those\n Who betray their trust;\n106. Waistaghfiri Allaha inna Allaha kana ghafooran raheeman\n106. But seek the forgiveness\n Of God; for God is\n Oft-forgiving, Most Merciful.\n107. Wala tujadil AAani allatheena yakhtanoona anfusahum inna Allaha la yuhibbu man kana khawwanan atheeman\n107. Contend not on behalf\n Of such as betray\n Their own souls;\n For God loveth not\n One given to perfidy\n And crime;\n108. Yastakhfoona mina alnnasi wala yastakhfoona mina Allahi wahuwa maAAahum ith yubayyitoona ma la yarda mina alqawli wakana Allahu bima yaAAmaloona muheetan\n108. They may hide\n (Their crimes) from men,\n But they cannot hide\n (Them) from God, seeing that\n He is in their midst\n When they plot by night,\n In words that He cannot\n Approve: and God\n Doth compass round\n All that they do.\n109. Haantum haola-i jadaltum AAanhum fee alhayati alddunya faman yujadilu Allaha AAanhum yawma alqiyamati am man yakoonu AAalayhim wakeelan\n109. Ah! these are the sort\n Of men on whose behalf\n Ye may contend in this world;\n But who will contend with God\n On their behalf on the Day\n Of Judgment, or who\n Will carry their affairs through?\n110. Waman yaAAmal soo-an aw yathlim nafsahu thumma yastaghfiri Allaha yajidi Allaha ghafooran raheeman\n110. If any one does evil\n Or wrongs his own soul\n But afterwards seeks\n God's forgiveness, he will find\n God Oft-forgiving,\n Most Merciful.\n111. Waman yaksib ithman fa-innama yaksibuhu AAala nafsihi wakana Allahu AAaleeman hakeeman\n111. And if any one earns\n Sin, he earns it against\nHis own soul: for God\n Is full of knowledge and wisdom.\n112. Waman yaksib khatee-atan aw ithman thumma yarmi bihi baree-an faqadi ihtamala buhtanan wa-ithman mubeenan\n112. But if any one earns\n A fault or a sin\n And throws it on to one\n That is innocent,\n He carries (on himself)\n (Both) a falsehood\n And a flagrant sin.","title":"The Quran: S\u016bra IV.: Nis\u0101a, or The Women.: Section 16 (105-112)","type":"page"}
