Watilka hujjatuna ataynaha ibraheema AAala qawmihi narfaAAu darajatin man nashao inna rabbaka hakeemun AAaleemun\n83. That was the reasoning\n About Us, which\n We gave to Abraham\n (To use) against his people:\nWe raise whom We will,\n Degree after degree:\n For thy Lord is full\n Of wisdom and knowledge.\n84. Wawahabna lahu ishaqa wayaAAqooba kullan hadayna wanoohan hadayna min qablu wamin thurriyyatihi dawooda wasulaymana waayyooba wayoosufa wamoosa waharoona wakathalika najzee almuhsineena\n84. We gave him Isaac\n And Jacob: all (three)\n We guided:\n And before him,\n We guided Noah,\n And among his progeny,\n David, Solomon, Job,\n Joseph, Moses, and Aaron:\n Thus do We reward\n Those who do good:\n85. Wazakariyya wayahya waAAeesa wailyasa kullun mina alssaliheena\n85. And Zakar\u012bya and John,\n And Jesus and Elias:\n All in the ranks\n Of the Righteous:\n86. Wa-ismaAAeela wailyasaAAa wayoonusa walootan wakullan faddalna AAala alAAalameena\n86. And Ism\u0101\u2019\u012bl and Elisha,\n And Jonas, and Lot:\nAnd to all We gave\n Favour above the nations:\n87. Wamin aba-ihim wathurriyyatihim wa-ikhwanihim waijtabaynahum wahadaynahum ila siratin mustaqeemin\n87. (To them) and to their fathers,\n And progeny and brethren:\n We chose them,\n And We guided them\n To a straight Way.\n88. Thalika huda Allahi yahdee bihi man yashao min AAibadihi walaw ashrakoo lahabita AAanhum ma kanoo yaAAmaloona\n88. This is the Guidance\n Of God: He giveth\n That guidance to whom\n He pleaseth, of His worshippers.\n If they were to join\n Other gods with Him,\n All that they did\n Would be vain for them,\n89. Ola-ika allatheena ataynahumu alkitaba waalhukma waalnnubuwwata fa-in yakfur biha haola-i faqad wakkalna biha qawman laysoo biha bikafireena\n89. These were the men\n To whom We gave\n The Book, and Authority,\n And Prophethood: if these\n (Their descendants) reject them,\n Behold! We shall entrust\n Their charge to a new People\n Who reject them not.\n90. Ola-ika allatheena hada Allahu fabihudahumu iqtadih qul la as-alukum AAalayhi ajran in huwa illa thikra lilAAalameena\n90.
