It is not for such\n As join gods with God,\n To visit or maintain\n The mosques of God\n While they witness\n Against their own souls\n To infidelity. The works\n Of such bear no fruit:\n In Fire shall they dwell.\n18. Innama yaAAmuru masajida Allahi man amana biAllahi waalyawmi al-akhiri waaqama alssalata waata alzzakata walam yakhsha illa Allaha faAAasa ola-ika an yakoonoo mina almuhtadeena\n18. The mosques of God\n Shall be visited and maintained\n By such as believe in God\n And the Last Day, establish\n Regular prayers, and practise\n Regular charity, and fear\n None (at all) except God.\n It is they who are expected\n To be on true guidance!\n19. AjaAAaltum siqayata alhajji waAAimarata almasjidi alharami kaman amana biAllahi waalyawmi al-akhiri wajahada fee sabeeli Allahi la yastawoona AAinda Allahi waAllahu la yahdee alqawma alththalimeena\n19. Do ye make the giving\n Of drink to pilgrims,\nOr the maintenance of\n The Sacred Mosque, equal\n To (the pious service of) those\n Who believe in God\n And the Last Day, and strive\n With might and main\n In the cause of God?\n They are not comparable\n In the sight of God:\n And God guides not\n Those who do wrong.\n20. Allatheena amanoo wahajaroo wajahadoo fee sabeeli Allahi bi-amwalihim waanfusihim aAAthamu darajatan AAinda Allahi waola-ika humu alfa-izoona\n20. Those who believe, and suffer\n Exile and strive with might\n And main, in God's cause,\n With their goods and their persons,\n Have the highest rank\n In the sight of God:\n They are the people\n Who will achieve (salvation).\n21. Yubashshiruhum rabbuhum birahmatin minhu waridwanin wajannatin lahum feeha naAAeemun muqeemun\n21. Their Lord doth give them\n Glad tidings of a Mercy\n From Himself, of His good pleasure,\n And of Gardens for them,\n Wherein are delights\n That endure:\n22. Khalideena feeha abadan inna Allaha AAindahu ajrun AAatheemun\n22. They will dwell therein\n For ever. Verily in God's presence\n Is a reward, the greatest (of all).\n23. Ya ayyuha allatheena amanoo la tattakhithoo abaakum wa-ikhwanakum awliyaa ini istahabboo alkufra AAala al-eemani waman yatawallahum minkum faola-ika humu alththalimoona\n23. O ye who believe! Take not\n For protectors your fathers\n And your brothers if they love\n Infidelity above Faith:\nIf any of you do so,\n They do wrong.\n24. Qul in kana abaokum waabnaokum wa-ikhwanukum waazwajukum waAAasheeratukum waamwalun iqtaraftumooha watijaratun takhshawna kasadaha wamasakinu tardawnaha ahabba ilaykum mina Allahi warasoolihi wajihadin fee sabeelihi fatarabbasoo hatta ya/tiya Allahu bi-amrihi waAllahu la yahdee alqawma alfasiqeena\n24. Say; If it be that your fathers,\n Your sons, your brothers,\n Your mates, or your kindred;\n The wealth that ye have gained;\n The commerce in which ye fear\n A decline: or the dwellings\n In which ye delight\u2014\n Are dearer to you than God,\n Or His Apostle, or the striving\n In His cause;\u2014then wait\n Until God brings about\n His Decision: and God\n Guides not the rebellious.","title":"The Quran: S\u016bra IX.: Tauba (Repentance) or Bar\u0101...","type":"page"}
