Ya ayyuha alnnabiyyu jahidi alkuffara waalmunafiqeena waoghluth AAalayhim wama/wahum jahannamu wabi/sa almaseeru\n73. O Prophet! strive hard against\n The Unbelievers and the Hypocrites,\n And be firm against them.\n Their abode is Hell,\u2014\n An evil refuge indeed.\n74. Yahlifoona biAllahi ma qaloo walaqad qaloo kalimata alkufri wakafaroo baAAda islamihim wahammoo bima lam yanaloo wama naqamoo illa an aghnahumu Allahu warasooluhu min fadlihi fa-in yatooboo yaku khayran lahum wa-in yatawallaw yuAAaththibhumu Allahu AAathaban aleeman fee alddunya waal-akhirati wama lahum fee al-ardi min waliyyin wala naseerin\n74. They swear by God that they\n Said nothing (evil), but indeed\n They uttered blasphemy,\n And they did it after accepting\n Islam; and they meditated\n A plot which they were unable\n To carry out: this revenge\n Of theirs was (their) only return\n For the bounty with which\n God and His Apostle had enriched\n Them! If they repent,\n It will be best for them;\n But if they turn back\n (To their evil ways),\n God will punish them\n With a grievous penalty\n In this life and in the Hereafter:\n They shall have none on earth\n To protect or help them.\n75. Waminhum man AAahada Allaha la-in atana min fadlihi lanassaddaqanna walanakoonanna mina alssaliheena\n75. Amongst them are men\n Who made a Covenant with God,\n That if He bestowed on them\n Of His bounty, they would give\n (Largely) in charity, and be truly\n Amongst those who are righteous.\n76. Falamma atahum min fadlihi bakhiloo bihi watawallaw wahum muAAridoona\n76. But when He did bestow\n Of His bounty, they became\n Covetous, and turned back\n (From their Covenant), averse\n (From its fulfilment).\n77. FaaAAqabahum nifaqan fee quloobihim ila yawmi yalqawnahu bima akhlafoo Allaha ma waAAadoohu wabima kanoo yakthiboona\n77. So He hath put as a consequence\n Hypocrisy into their hearts,\n (To last) till the Day whereon\n They shall meet Him: because\n They broke their Covenant\n With God, and because they\n Lied (again and again).\n78. Alam yaAAlamoo anna Allaha yaAAlamu sirrahum wanajwahum waanna Allaha AAallamu alghuyoobi\n78. Know they not that God\n Doth know their secret (thoughts)\n And their secret counsels,\n And that God knoweth well\n All things unseen?\n79. Allatheena yalmizoona almuttawwiAAeena mina almu/mineena fee alssadaqati waallatheena la yajidoona illa juhdahum fayaskharoona minhum sakhira Allahu minhum walahum AAathabun aleemun\n79. Those who slander such\n Of the Believers as give themselves\n Freely to (deeds of) charity,\n As well as such as can find\n Nothing to give except\n The fruits of their labour,\u2014\n And throw ridicule on them,\u2014\n God will throw back\nTheir ridicule on them:\n And they shall have\n A grievous penalty.\n80. Istaghfir lahum aw la tastaghfir lahum in tastaghfir lahum sabAAeena marratan falan yaghfira Allahu lahum thalika bi-annahum kafaroo biAllahi warasoolihi waAllahu la yahdee alqawma alfasiqeena\n80.
