Walaqad kaththaba as-habu alhijri almursaleena\n80. The Companions of the Rocky Tract\n Also rejected the apostles:\n81. Waataynahum ayatina fakanoo AAanha muAArideena\n81. We sent them Our Signs,\n But they persisted\n In turning away from them.\n82. Wakanoo yanhitoona mina aljibali buyootan amineena\n82. Out of the mountains\n Did they hew (their) edifices,\n (Feeling themselves) secure.\n83. Faakhathat-humu alssayhatu musbiheena\n83. But the (mighty) Blast\n Seized them of a morning,\n84. Fama aghna AAanhum ma kanoo yaksiboona\n84. And of no avail to them\n Was all that they did\n (With such art and care)!\n85. Wama khalaqna alssamawati waal-arda wama baynahuma illa bialhaqqi wa-inna alssaAAata laatiyatun faisfahi alssafha aljameela\n85. We created not the heavens,\n The earth, and all between them,\nBut for just ends.\n And the Hour is surely\n Coming (when this will be manifest).\n So overlook (any human faults)\n With gracious forgiveness.\n86. Inna rabbaka huwa alkhallaqu alAAaleemu\n86. For verily it is thy Lord\n Who is the Master-Creator,\n Knowing all things.\n87. Walaqad ataynaka sabAAan mina almathanee waalqur-ana alAAatheema\n87. And We have bestowed\n Upon thee the Seven\n Oft-repeated (Verses)\n And the Grand Qur-\u0101n.\n88. La tamuddanna AAaynayka ila ma mattaAAna bihi azwajan minhum wala tahzan AAalayhim waikhfid janahaka lilmu/mineena\n88. Strain not thine eyes.\n (Wistfully) at what We\n Have bestowed on certain classes\n Of them, nor grieve over them:\nBut lower thy wing\n (in gentleness)\n To the Believers.\n89. Waqul innee ana alnnatheeru almubeenu\n89. And say: \"I am indeed he\n That warneth openly\n And without ambiguity,\"\u2014\n90. Kama anzalna AAala almuqtasimeena\n90. (Of just such wrath)\n As We sent down\n On those who divided\n (Scripture into arbitrary parts),\u2014\n91. Allatheena jaAAaloo alqur-ana AAideena\n91. (So also on such)\n As have made Qur-\u0101n\n Into shreds (as they please).\n92. Fawarabbika lanas-alannahum ajmaAAeena\n92. Therefore, by the Lord,\n We will, of a surety,\n Call them to account,\n93. For all their deeds.\n94. FaisdaAA bima tu/maru waaAArid AAani almushrikeena\n94. Therefore expound openly\n What thou art commanded,\n And turn away from those\n Who join false gods with God.\n95. Inna kafaynaka almustahzi-eena\n95. For sufficient are We\n Unto thee against those\nWho scoff,\u2014\n96. Allatheena yajAAaloona maAAa Allahi ilahan akhara fasawfa yaAAlamoona\n96. Those who adopt, with God,\n Another god: but soon\n Will they come to know.\n97. Walaqad naAAlamu annaka yadeequ sadruka bima yaqooloona\n97. We do indeed know\n How thy heart is distressed\n At what they say.\n98. Fasabbih bihamdi rabbika wakun mina alssajideena\n98. But celebrate the praises\n Of thy Lord, and be of those\n Who prostrate themselves\n In adoration.\n99. WaoAAbud rabbaka hatta ya/tiyaka alyaqeenu\n99.
