Waqala Allahu la tattakhithoo ilahayni ithnayni innama huwa ilahun wahidun fa-iyyaya fairhabooni\n51. God has said: \"Take not\n (For worship) two gods:\n For He is just One God:\n Then fear Me (and Me alone).\"\n52. Walahu ma fee alssamawati waal-ardi walahu alddeenu wasiban afaghayra Allahi tattaqoona\n52. To Him belongs whatever\n Is in the heavens and on earth,\n And to Him is duty due always:\n Then will ye fear other\n Than God?\n53. Wama bikum min niAAmatin famina Allahi thumma itha massakumu alddurru fa-ilayhi taj-aroona\n53. And ye have no good thing\n But is from God: and moreover,\n When ye are touched by distress,\n Unto Him ye cry with groans;\n54. Thumma itha kashafa alddurra AAankum itha fareequn minkum birabbihim yushrikoona\n54. Yet, when He removes\n The distress from you, behold!\n Some of you turn to other gods\n To join with their Lord\u2014\n55. Liyakfuroo bima ataynahum fatamattaAAoo fasawfa taAAlamoona\n55. (As if) to show their ingratitude\n For the favours We have\n Bestowed on them! Then enjoy\n (Your brief day); but soon\n Will ye know (your folly)!\n56. WayajAAaloona lima la yaAAlamoona naseeban mimma razaqnahum taAllahi latus-alunna AAamma kuntum taftaroona\n56. And they (even) assign,\n To things they do not know,\n A portion out of that\n Which We have bestowed\n For their sustenance!\n By God, ye shall certainly\n Be called to account\n For your false inventions.\n57. WayajAAaloona lillahi albanati subhanahu walahum ma yashtahoona\n57. And they assign daughters\n For God!\u2014Glory be to Him!\u2014\n And for themselves (sons,\n The issue) they desire!\n58. Wa-itha bushshira ahaduhum bialontha thalla wajhuhu muswaddan wahuwa katheemun\n58. When news is brought\n To one of them, of (the birth\n Of) a female (child), his face\n Darkens, and he is filled\n With inward grief!\n59. Yatawara mina alqawmi min soo-i ma bushshira bihi ayumsikuhu AAala hoonin am yadussuhu fee altturabi ala saa ma yahkumoona\n59. With shame does he hide\n Himself from his people,\nBecause of the bad news\n He has had!\n Shall he retain it\n On (sufferance and) contempt,\n Or bury it in the dust?\n Ah! what an evil (choice)\n They decide on?\n60. Lillatheena la yu/minoona bial-akhirati mathalu alssaw-i walillahi almathalu al-aAAla wahuwa alAAazeezu alhakeemu\n60.
