Afahasiba allatheena kafaroo an yattakhithoo AAibadee min doonee awliyaa inna aAAtadna jahannama lilkafireena nuzulan\n102. Do the Unbelievers think\n That they can take\n My servants as protectors\n Besides Me? Verily We\n Have prepared Hell\n For the Unbelievers\n For (their) entertainment.\n103. Qul hal nunabbi-okum bial-akhsareena aAAmalan\n103. Say: \"Shall we tell you\n Of those who lose most\n In respect of their deeds?\u2014\n104. Allatheena dalla saAAyuhum fee alhayati alddunya wahum yahsaboona annahum yuhsinoona sunAAan\n104. \"Those whose efforts have\n Been wasted in this life,\n While they thought that\n They were acquiring good\n By their works?\"\n105. Ola-ika allatheena kafaroo bi-ayati rabbihim waliqa-ihi fahabitat aAAmaluhum fala nuqeemu lahum yawma alqiyamati waznan\n105. They are those who deny\n The Signs of their Lord\n And the fact of their\n Having to meet Him\n (In the Hereafter): vain\n Will be their works,\n Nor shall We, on the Day\n Of Judgment, give them\n Any weight.\n106. Thalika jazaohum jahannamu bima kafaroo waittakhathoo ayatee warusulee huzuwan\n106. That is their reward,\n Hell; because they rejected\n Faith, and took My Signs\n And My Messengers\n By way of jest.\n107. Inna allatheena amanoo waAAamiloo alssalihati kanat lahum jannatu alfirdawsi nuzulan\n107. As to those who believe\n And work righteous deeds,\n They have, for their entertainment,\n The Gardens of Paradise,\n108. Khalideena feeha la yabghoona AAanha hiwalan\n108. Wherein they shall dwell\n (For aye): no change\n Will they wish for from them.\n109. Qul law kana albahru midadan likalimati rabbee lanafida albahru qabla an tanfada kalimatu rabbee walaw ji/na bimithlihi madadan\n109. Say: \"If the ocean were\n Ink (wherewith to write out)\n The words of my Lord,\n Sooner would the ocean be\n Exhausted than would the words\n Of my Lord, even if we\n Added another ocean\n Like it, for its aid.\"\n110. Qul innama ana basharun mithlukum yooha ilayya annama ilahukum ilahun wahidun faman kana yarjoo liqaa rabbihi falyaAAmal AAamalan salihan wala yushrik biAAibadati rabbihi ahadan\n110. Say: \"I am but a man\n Like yourselves, (but)\n The inspiration has come\n To me, that your God is\n One God: whoever expects\n To meet his Lord, let him\n Work righteousness, and,\n In the worship of his Lord,\n Admit no one as partner.","title":"The Quran: S\u016bra XVIII.: Kahf, or the Cave.: Section 12 (102-110)","type":"page"}
