Qala rabbi ishrah lee sadree\n25. (Moses) said: \"O my Lord!\n Expand me my breast;\n26. \"Ease my task for me;\n27. Waohlul AAuqdatan min lisanee\n27. \"And remove the impediment\n From my speech,\n28. \"So they may understand\n What I say:\n29. WaijAAal lee wazeeran min ahlee\n29. \"And give me a Minister\n From my family,\n30. \"Aaron, my brother;\n31. \"Add to my strength\n Through him,\n32. \"And make him share\n My task:\n33. \"That we may celebrate\n Thy praise without stint,\n34. \"And remember Thee\n Without stint:\n35. Innaka kunta bina baseeran\n35. \"For Thou art He\n That (ever) regardeth us.\"\n36. Qala qad ooteeta su/laka ya moosa\n36. (God) said: \"Granted\n Is thy prayer, O Moses!\"\n37. Walaqad mananna AAalayka marratan okhra\n37. \"And indeed We conferred\n A favour on thee\n Another time (before).\n38. Ith awhayna ila ommika ma yooha\n38. \"Behold! We sent\n To thy mother, by inspiration,\n The message:\n39. Ani iqthifeehi fee alttabooti faiqthifeehi fee alyammi falyulqihi alyammu bialssahili ya/khuthhu AAaduwwun lee waAAaduwwun lahu waalqaytu AAalayka mahabbatan minnee walitusnaAAa AAala AAaynee\n39. \"Throw (the child)\n Into the chest, and throw\n (The chest) into the river:\n The river will cast him\n Up on the bank, and he\n Will be taken up by one\n Who is an enemy to Me\n And an enemy to him\n But I cast (the garment\n Of) love over thee from Me\n And (this) in order that\n Thou mayest be reared\n Under Mine eye.\n40. Ith tamshee okhtuka fataqoolu hal adullukum AAala man yakfuluhu farajaAAnaka ila ommika kay taqarra AAaynuha wala tahzana waqatalta nafsan fanajjaynaka mina alghammi wafatannaka futoonan falabithta sineena fee ahli madyana thumma ji/ta AAala qadarin ya moosa\n40. \"Behold! thy sister goeth forth\n And saith, \"Shall I show you\nOne who will nurse\n And rear the (child)?\n So We brought thee back\n To thy mother, that her eye\n Might be cooled and she\n Should not grieve.\n Then thou didst slay\n A man, but We saved thee\n From trouble, and We tried\n Thee in various ways.\n Then didst thou tarry\n A number of years\n With the people of Midian.\n Then didst thou come hither\n As ordained, O Moses!\n41. \"And I have prepared thee\n For Myself (for service)\"\u2026\n42. Ithhab anta waakhooka bi-ayatee wala taniya fee thikree\n42. \"Go, thou and thy brother,\n With My Signs,\nAnd slacken not,\n Either of you, in keeping\n Me in remembrance.\n43. Ithhaba ila firAAawna innahu tagha\n43. \"Go, both of you, to Pharaoh,\n For he has indeed\n Transgressed all bounds;\n44. Faqoola lahu qawlan layyinan laAAallahu yatathakkaru aw yakhsha\n44. \"But speak to him mildly;\n Perchance he may take\n Warning or fear (God).\"\n45. Qala rabbana innana nakhafu an yafruta AAalayna aw an yatgha\n45. They (Moses and Aaron) said:\n \"Our Lord! We fear lest\n He hasten with insolence\n Against us, or lest he\n Transgress all bounds.\"\n46. Qala la takhafa innanee maAAakuma asmaAAu waara\n46. He said: \"Fear not:\n For I am with you:\n I hear and see (everything).\n47. Fa/tiyahu faqoola inna rasoola rabbika faarsil maAAana banee isra-eela wala tuAAaththibhum qad ji/naka bi-ayatin min rabbika waalssalamu AAala mani ittabaAAa alhuda\n47. \"So go ye both to him,\n And say, \"Verily we are\n Apostles sent by thy Lord:\n Send forth, therefore, the Children\n Of Israel with us, and\n Afflict them not:\n With a Sign, indeed,\n Have we come from thy Lord!\nAnd Peace to all\n Who follow guidance!\n48. Inna qad oohiya ilayna anna alAAathaba AAala man kaththaba watawalla\n48. \"Verily it has been revealed\n To us that the Penalty\n (Awaits) those who reject\n And turn away.\"\n49. Qala faman rabbukuma ya moosa\n49. (When this message was delivered),\n (Pharaoh) said: \"Who, then,\n O Moses, is the Lord\n Of you two?\"\n50. Qala rabbuna allathee aAAta kulla shay-in khalqahu thumma hada\n50. He said: \"Our Lord is\n He Who gave to each\n (Created) thing its form\n And nature, and further,\n Gave (it) guidance.\"\n51. Qala fama balu alqurooni al-oola\n51. (Pharaoh) said: \"What then\n Is the condition\n Of previous generations?\"\n52. Qala AAilmuha AAinda rabbee fee kitabin la yadillu rabbee wala yansa\n52. He replied: \"The knowledge\n Of that is with my Lord,\n Duly recorded: my Lord\n Never errs, nor forgets,\u2014\n53. Allathee jaAAala lakumu al-arda mahdan wasalaka lakum feeha subulan waanzala mina alssama-i maan faakhrajna bihi azwajan min nabatin shatta\n53. \"He Who has made for you\n The earth like a carpet\n Spread out; has enabled you\n To go about therein by roads\n (And channels); and has sent\n Down water from the sky.\"\n With it have We produced\n Divers pairs of plants\n Each separate front the others.\n54. Kuloo wairAAaw anAAamakum inna fee thalika laayatin li-olee alnnuha\n54.
