Walawla kalimatun sabaqat min rabbika lakana lizaman waajalun musamman\n129. Had it not been\n For a Word that went forth\n Before from thy Lord,\n (Their punishment) must necessarily\n Have come; but there is\n A term appointed (for respite).\n130. Therefore be patient with what\n They say, and celebrate (constantly)\n The praises of thy Lord,\n Before the rising of the sun,\n And before its setting;\n Yea, celebrate them\n For part of the hours\n Of the night, and at the sides\n Of the day: that thou\n Mayest have (spiritual) joy.\n131. Wala tamuddanna AAaynayka ila ma mattaAAna bihi azwajan minhum zahrata alhayati alddunya linaftinahum feehi warizqu rabbika khayrun waabqa\n131. Nor strain thine eyes in longing\n For the things We have given\n For enjoyment to parties ,\n Of them, the splendour\nOf the life of this world,\n Through which We test them:\n But the provision of thy Lord\n Is better and more enduring.\n132.
