Waqala almalao min qawmihi allatheena kafaroo wakaththaboo biliqa-i al-akhirati waatrafnahum fee alhayati alddunya ma hatha illa basharun mithlukum ya/kulu mimma ta/kuloona minhu wayashrabu mimma tashraboona\n33. And the chiefs\n Of his people, who disbelieved\n And denied the Meeting\n In the Hereafter, and on whom\n We had bestowed the good things\n Of this life, said: \"He is\n No more than a man\n Like yourselves: he eats\n Of that of which ye eat,\n And drinks of what ye drink.\n34. Wala-in ataAAtum basharan mithlakum innakum ithan lakhasiroona\n34. \"If ye obey a man\n Like yourselves, behold,\n It is certain ye will be lost.\n35. AyaAAidukum annakum itha mittum wakuntum turaban waAAithaman annakum mukhrajoona\n35. \"Does he promise that\n When ye die and become dust\n And bones, ye shall be\n Brought forth (again)?\n36. Hayhata hayhata lima tooAAadoona\n36. \"Far, very far is that\n Which ye are promised!\n37. In hiya illa hayatuna alddunya namootu wanahya wama nahnu bimabAAootheena\n37. \"There is nothing but\n Our life in this world!\n We shall die and we live!\n But we shall never\n Be raised up again!\n38. In huwa illa rajulun iftara AAala Allahi kathiban wama nahnu lahu bimu/mineena\n38. \"He is only a man\n Who invents a lie\n Against God, but we\n Are not the ones\n To believe in him!\"\n39. Qala rabbi onsurnee bima kaththabooni\n39. (The prophet) said:\n \"O my Lord! help me:\n For that they accuse me\n Of falsehood.\"\n40. Qala AAamma qaleelin layusbihunna nadimeena\n40. (God) said: \"In but\n A little while, they\n Are sure to be sorry!\"\n41. Faakhathat-humu alssayhatu bialhaqqi fajaAAalnahum ghuthaan fabuAAdan lilqawmi alththalimeena\n41. Then the Blast overtook them\n With justice, and We made them\n As rubbish of dead leaves\n (Floating on the stream of Time)!\n So away with the people\n Who do wrong!\n42. Thumma ansha/na min baAAdihim quroonan akhareena\n42. Then We raised after them\n Other generations.\n43. Ma tasbiqu min ommatin ajalaha wama yasta/khiroona\n43. No people can hasten\n Their term, nor can they\n Delay (it).\n44. Thumma arsalna rusulana tatra kulla ma jaa ommatan rasooluha kaththaboohu faatbaAAna baAAdahum baAAdan wajaAAalnahum ahadeetha fabuAAdan liqawmin la yu/minoona\n44. Then sent We Our apostles\n In succession: every time\n There came to a people\n Their apostle, they accused him\n Of falsehood: so We made\n Them follow each other\n (In punishment): We made them\n As a tale (that is told):\n So away with a people\n That will not believe!\n45. Thumma arsalna moosa waakhahu haroona bi-ayatina wasultanin mubeenin\n45. When We sent Moses\n And his brother Aaron,\n With Our Signs and\n Authority manifest,\n46. Ila firAAawna wamala-ihi faistakbaroo wakanoo qawman AAaleena\n46. To Pharaoh and his Chiefs:\n But these behaved insolently:\n They were an arrogant people.\n47. Faqaloo anu/minu libasharayni mithlina waqawmuhuma lana AAabidoona\n47. They said: \"Shall we believe\n In two men like ourselves?\n And their people are subject\n To us!\"\n48. Fakaththaboohuma fakanoo mina almuhlakeena\n48. So they accused them\n Of falsehood, and they became\n Of those who were destroyed.\n49. Walaqad atayna moosa alkitaba laAAallahum yahtadoona\n49. And We gave Moses\n The Book, in order that\n They might receive guidance.\n50. WajaAAalna ibna maryama waommahu ayatan waawaynahuma ila rabwatin thati qararin wamaAAeenin\n50.
