Waallatheena kafaroo bi-ayati Allahi waliqa-ihi ola-ika ya-isoo min rahmatee waola-ika lahum AAathabun aleemun\n23. Those who reject the Signs\n Of God and the Meeting\n With Him (in the Hereafter),\n It is they who shall despair\n Of My mercy: it is they\n Who will (suffer)\n A most grievous Penalty.\n24. Fama kana jawaba qawmihi illa an qaloo oqtuloohu aw harriqoohu faanjahu Allahu mina alnnari inna fee thalika laayatin liqawmin yu/minoona\n24. So naught was the answer\n Of (Abraham's) people except\n That they said: \"Slay him\n Or burn him.\" But God\n Did save him from the Fire\n Verily in this are Signs\n For people who believe.\n25. Waqala innama ittakhathtum min dooni Allahi awthanan mawaddata baynikum fee alhayati alddunya thumma yawma alqiyamati yakfuru baAAdukum bibaAAdin wayalAAanu baAAdukum baAAdan wama-wakumu alnnaru wama lakum min nasireena\n25. And he said: \"For you,\n Ye have taken (for worship)\n Idols besides God, out of\n Mutual love and regard\nBetween yourselves in this life;\n But on the Day of Judgment\n Ye shall disown each other\n And curse each other:\n And your abode will be\n The Fire, and ye shall have\n None to help.\"\n26. Faamana lahu lootun waqala innee muhajirun ila rabbee innahu huwa alAAazeezu alhakeemu\n26. But L\u016b\u1e6d had faith in Him:\n He said: \"I will leave\n Home for the sake of\n My Lord: for He is\n Exalted in Might, and Wise.\"\n27. Wawahabna lahu ishaqa wayaAAqooba wajaAAalna fee thurriyyatihi alnnubuwwata waalkitaba waataynahu ajrahu fee alddunya wa-innahu fee al-akhirati lamina alssaliheena\n27. And We gave (Abraham)\n Isaac and Jacob, and ordained\n Among his progeny Prophethood\n And Revelation, and We\n Granted him his reward\n In this life; and he was\n In the Hereafter (of the company)\n Of the Righteous.\n28. Walootan ith qala liqawmihi innakum lata/toona alfahishata ma sabaqakum biha min ahadin mina alAAalameena\n28. And (remember) L\u016b\u1e6d: behold,\n He said to his people:\n\"Ye do commit lewdness,\n Such as no people in Creation\n (Ever) committed before you.\n29. A-innakum lata/toona alrrijala wataqtaAAoona alssabeela wata/toona fee nadeekumu almunkara fama kana jawaba qawmihi illa an qaloo i/tina biAAathabi Allahi in kunta mina alssadiqeena\n29. \"Do ye indeed approach men,\n And cut off the highway?\n And practise wickedness\n (Even) in your councils?\"\n But his people gave no answer\n But this: they said:\n \"Bring us the Wrath of God\n If thou tellest the truth.\"\n30. Qala rabbi onsurnee AAala alqawmi almufsideena\n30.
