Allahu allathee khalaqakum min daAAfin thumma jaAAala min baAAdi daAAfin quwwatan thumma jaAAala min baAAdi quwwatin daAAfan washaybatan yakhluqu ma yashao wahuwa alAAaleemu alqadeeru\n54. It is God Who\n Created you in a state\n Of (helpless) weakness, then\n Gave (you) strength after weakness,\nThen, after strength, gave (you)\n Weakness and a hoary head:\n He creates as He wills,\n And it is He Who has\n All knowledge and power.\n55. Wayawma taqoomu alssaAAatu yuqsimu almujrimoona ma labithoo ghayra saAAatin kathalika kanoo yu/fakoona\n55. On the Day that\n The Hour (of reckoning)\n Will be established,\n The transgressors will swear\n That they tarried not\n But an hour: thus were\n They used to being deluded!\n56. Waqala allatheena ootoo alAAilma waal-eemana laqad labithtum fee kitabi Allahi ila yawmi albaAAthi fahatha yawmu albaAAthi walakinnakum kuntum la taAAlamoona\n56. But those endued with knowledge\n And faith will say:\n \"Indeed ye did tarry,\n Within God's Decree,\n To the Day of Resurrection,\n And this is the Day\n Of Resurrection: but ye\u2014\n Ye were not aware!\"\n57. Fayawma-ithin la yanfaAAu allatheena thalamoo maAAthiratuhum wala hum yustaAAtaboona\n57. So on that Day no excuse\n Of theirs will\n Avail the Transgressors,\n Nor will they be invited (then)\n To seek grace (by repentance).\n58. Walaqad darabna lilnnasi fee hatha alqur-ani min kulli mathalin wala-in ji/tahum bi-ayatin layaqoolanna allatheena kafaroo in antum illa mubtiloona\n58. Verily We have propounded\n For men, in this Qur-\u0101n.\n Every kind of Parable:\n But if thou bring to them\n Any Sign, the Unbelievers\n Are sure to say, \"Ye\n Do nothing but talk vanities.\"\n59. Kathalika yatbaAAu Allahu AAala quloobi allatheena la yaAAlamoona\n59. Thus does God seal up\n The hearts of those\n Who understand not.\n60. Faisbir inna waAAda Allahi haqqun wala yastakhiffannaka allatheena la yooqinoona\n60.
