Afaman zuyyina lahu soo-o AAamalihi faraahu hasanan fa-inna Allaha yudillu man yashao wayahdee man yashao fala tathhab nafsuka AAalayhim hasaratin inna Allaha AAaleemun bima yasnaAAoona\n8. Is he, then, to whom\n The evil of his conduct\n Is made alluring, so\n That he looks upon it\n As good, (equal to one\n Who is rightly guided)?\n For God leaves to stray\n Whom He wills, and guides\n Whom He wills. So\n Let not thy soul go out\n In (vainly) sighing after them:\n For God knows well\n All that they do!\n9. WaAllahu allathee arsala alrriyaha fatutheeru sahaban fasuqnahu ila baladin mayyitin faahyayna bihi al-arda baAAda mawtiha kathalika alnnushooru\n9. It is God Who sends\n Forth the Winds, so that\nThey raise up the Clouds,\n And We drive them\n To a land that is dead,\n And revive the earth therewith\n After its death: even so\n (Will be) the Resurrection!\n10. Man kana yureedu alAAizzata falillahi alAAizzatu jameeAAan ilayhi yasAAadu alkalimu alttayyibu waalAAamalu alssalihu yarfaAAuhu waallatheena yamkuroona alssayyi-ati lahum AAathabun shadeedun wamakru ola-ika huwa yabooru\n10. If any do seek\n For glory and power,\u2014\n To God belong\n All glory and power.\n To Him mount up\n (All) Words of Purity:\n It is He Who exalts\n Each Deed of Righteousness.\n Those that lay Plots\n Of Evil,\u2014for them\n Is a Penalty terrible;\n And the plotting of such\n Will be void (of result).\n11. WaAllahu khalaqakum min turabin thumma min nutfatin thumma jaAAalakum azwajan wama tahmilu min ontha wala tadaAAu illa biAAilmihi wama yuAAammaru min muAAammarin wala yunqasu min AAumurihi illa fee kitabin inna thalika AAala Allahi yaseerun\n11. And God did create\n You from dust;\n Then from a sperm-drop;\n Then He made you\n In pairs. And no female\n Conceives, or lays down\n (Her load), but with His\n Knowledge. Nor is a man\nLong-lived granted length\n Of days, nor is a part\n Cut off from his life,\n But is in a Decree\n (Ordained). All this\n Is easy to God.\n12. Wama yastawee albahrani hatha AAathbun furatun sa-ighun sharabuhu wahatha milhun ojajun wamin kullin ta/kuloona lahman tariyyan watastakhrijoona hilyatan talbasoonaha watara alfulka feehi mawakhira litabtaghoo min fadlihi walaAAallakum tashkuroona\n12. Nor are the two bodies\n Of flowing water alike,\u2014\n The one palatable, sweet,\n And pleasant to drink,\n And the other, salt\n And bitter. Yet from each\n (Kind of water) do ye\n Eat flesh fresh and tender,\n And ye extract ornaments\n To wear; and thou seest\n The ships therein that plough\n The waves, that ye may\n Seek (thus) of the Bounty\n Of God that ye\n May be grateful.\n13. Yooliju allayla fee alnnahari wayooliju alnnahara fee allayli wasakhkhara alshshamsa waalqamara kullun yajree li-ajalin musamman thalikumu Allahu rabbukum lahu almulku waallatheena tadAAoona min doonihi ma yamlikoona min qitmeerin\n13. He merges Night into Day,\n And He merges Day\nInto Night, and He has\n Subjected the sun and\n The moon (to His Law):\n Each one runs its course\n For a term appointed.\n Such is God your Lord:\n To Him belongs all Dominion.\n And those whom ye invoke\n Besides Him have not\n The least power.\n14. In tadAAoohum la yasmaAAoo duAAaakum walaw samiAAoo ma istajaboo lakum wayawma alqiyamati yakfuroona bishirkikum wala yunabbi-oka mithlu khabeerin\n14. If ye invoke them,\n They will not listen\n To your call, and if\n They were to listen,\n They cannot answer\n Your (prayer). On the Day\n Of Judgment they will reject\n Your \"Partnership\".
