Inna Allaha AAalimu ghaybi alssamawati waal-ardi innahu AAaleemun bithati alssudoori\n38. Verily God knows\n (All) the hidden things\n Of the heavens and the earth:\n Verily He has full knowledge\n Of all that is\n In (men's) hearts.\n39. Huwa allathee jaAAalakum khala-ifa fee al-ardi faman kafara faAAalayhi kufruhu wala yazeedu alkafireena kufruhum AAinda rabbihim illa maqtan wala yazeedu alkafireena kufruhum illa khasaran\n39. He it is that has made\n You inheritors in the earth:\nIf, then, any do reject\n (God), their rejection (works)\n Against themselves: their rejection\n But adds to the odium\n For the Unbelievers\n In the sight of their Lord:\n Their rejection but adds\n To (their own) undoing.\n40. Qul araaytum shurakaakumu allatheena tadAAoona min dooni Allahi aroonee matha khalaqoo mina al-ardi am lahum shirkun fee alssamawati am ataynahum kitaban fahum AAala bayyinatin minhu bal in yaAAidu alththalimoona baAAduhum baAAdan illa ghurooran\n40. Say: \"Have ye seen\n (These) \"Partners\" of yours\n Whom ye call upon\n Besides God? Show me\n What it is they have created\n In the (wide) earth.\n Or have they a share\n In the heavens? Or\n Have We given them a Book\n From which they (can derive)\n Clear (evidence)?\u2014Nay,\n The wrong-doers promise\n Each other nothing but delusions.\n41. Inna Allaha yumsiku alssamawati waal-arda an tazoola wala-in zalata in amsakahuma min ahadin min baAAdihi innahu kana haleeman ghafooran\n41. It is God Who sustains\n The heavens and the earth,\n Lest they cease (to function):\n And if they should fail,\n There is none\u2014not one\u2014\n Can sustain them thereafter:\nVerily He is Most Forbearing,\n Oft-Forgiving.\n42. Waaqsamoo biAllahi jahda aymanihim la-in jaahum natheerun layakoonunna ahda min ihda al-omami falamma jaahum natheerun ma zadahum illa nufooran\n42. They swore their strongest oaths\n By God that if a warner\n Came to them, they would\n Follow his guidance better\n Than any (other) of the Peoples:\n But when a warner came\n To them, it has only\n Increased their flight\n (From righteousness),\u2014\n43. Istikbaran fee al-ardi wamakra alssayyi-i wala yaheequ almakru alssayyi-o illa bi-ahlihi fahal yanthuroona illa sunnata al-awwaleena falan tajida lisunnati Allahi tabdeelan walan tajida lisunnati Allahi tahweelan\n43. On account of their arrogance\n In the land and their\n Plotting of Evil.\n But the plotting of Evil\n Will hem in only\n The authors thereof. Now\n Are they but looking for\n The way the ancients\n Were dealt with? But\n No change wilt thou find\n In God's way (of dealing):\n No turning off wilt thou\n Find in God's way (of dealing).\n44. Awa lam yaseeroo fee al-ardi fayanthuroo kayfa kana AAaqibatu allatheena min qablihim wakanoo ashadda minhum quwwatan wama kana Allahu liyuAAjizahu min shay-in fee alssamawati wala fee al-ardi innahu kana AAaleeman qadeeran\n44. Do they not travel\n Through the earth, and see.\n What was the End\n Of those before them,\n Though they were superior\n To them in strength?\n Nor is God to be frustrated\n By anything whatever\n In the heavens\n Or on earth: for He\n Is All-Knowing, All-Powerful.\n45. Walaw yu-akhithu Allahu alnnasa bima kasaboo ma taraka AAala thahriha min dabbatin walakin yu-akhkhiruhum ila ajalin musamman fa-itha jaa ajaluhum fa-inna Allaha kana biAAibadihi baseeran\n45. If God were to punish\n Men according to what\n They deserve, He would not\n Leave on the back\n Of the (earth) a single\n Living creature: but He\n Gives them respite\n For a stated Term:\n When their Term expires,\n Verily God has in His sight\n All His servants.","title":"The Quran: S\u016bra XXXV.: F\u0101\u1e6dir, or The Originator of Creation; or Mal\u0101\u00efka, or The Angels.: Section 5 (38-45)","type":"page"}
