Wama khalaqna alssamaa waal-arda wama baynahuma batilan thalika thannu allatheena kafaroo fawaylun lillatheena kafaroo mina alnnari\n27. Not without purpose did We\n Create heaven and earth\n And all between! That\n Were the thought of Unbelievers!\n But woe to the Unbelievers\n Because of the Fire (of Hell)!\n28. Am najAAalu allatheena amanoo waAAamiloo alssalihati kaalmufsideena fee al-ardi am najAAalu almuttaqeena kaalfujjari\n28. Shall We treat those\n Who believe and work deeds\n Of righteousness, the same\n As those who do mischief\n On earth? Shall We treat\n Those who guard against evil,\n The same as those who\n Turn aside from the right?\n29. Kitabun anzalnahu ilayka mubarakun liyaddabbaroo ayatihi waliyatathakkara oloo al-albabi\n29. (Here is) a Book which\n We have sent down\n Unto thee, full of blessings,\n That they may meditate\n On its Signs, and that\n Men of understanding may\n Receive admonition.\n30. Wawahabna lidawooda sulaymana niAAma alAAabdu innahu awwabun\n30. To David We gave\n Solomon (for a son),\u2014\n How excellent in Our service!\n Ever did he turn (to Us)!\n31. Ith AAurida AAalayhi bialAAashiyyi alssafinatu aljiyadu\n31. Behold, there were brought\n Before him, at eventide,\n Coursers of the highest breeding,\n And swift of foot;\n32. Faqala innee ahbabtu hubba alkhayri AAan thikri rabbee hatta tawarat bialhijabi\n32. And he said, \"Truly\n Do I love the love\n Of Good, with a view\n To the glory of my Lord,\"\u2014\n Until (the sun) was hidden\n In the veil (of Night):\n33. Ruddooha AAalayya fatafiqa mashan bialssooqi waal-aAAnaqi\n33. \"Bring them back to me.\"\n Then began he to pass\n His hand over (their) legs\n And their necks.\n34. Walaqad fatanna sulaymana waalqayna AAala kursiyyihi jasadan thumma anaba\n34. And We did try\n Solomon: We placed\n On his throne a body\n (Without life): but he did turn\n (To Us in true devotion):\n35. Qala rabbi ighfir lee wahab lee mulkan la yanbaghee li-ahadin min baAAdee innaka anta alwahhabu\n35. He said, \"O my Lord!\n Forgive me, and grant me\nA Kingdom which,\n (It may be), suits not\n Another after me:\n For Thou art the Grantor\n Of Bounties (without measure).\n36. Fasakhkharna lahu alrreeha tajree bi-amrihi rukhaan haythu asaba\n36. Then We subjected the Wind\n To his power, to flow\n Gently to his order,\n Whithersoever he willed,\u2014\n37. Waalshshayateena kulla banna-in waghawwasin\n37. As also the evil ones,\n (Including) every kind\n Of builder and diver,\u2014\n38. Waakhareena muqarraneena fee al-asfadi\n38. As also others bound\n Together in fetters.\n39. Hatha AAataona faomnun aw amsik bighayri hisabin\n39. \"Such are Our Bounties:\n Whether thou bestow them\n (On others) or withhold them,\n No account will be asked.\"\n40. Wa-inna lahu AAindana lazulfa wahusna maabin\n40.
