Allahu allathee jaAAala lakumu al-anAAama litarkaboo minha waminha ta/kuloona\n79. It is God who made\n Cattle for you, that ye\nMay use some for riding\n And some for food;\n80. Walakum feeha manafiAAu walitablughoo AAalayha hajatan fee sudoorikum waAAalayha waAAala alfulki tuhmaloona\n80. And there are (other) advantages\n In them for you (besides);\n That ye may through them\n Attain to any need\n (There may be) in your hearts;\n And on them and on ships\n Ye are carried.\n81. Wayureekum ayatihi faayya ayati Allahi tunkiroona\n81. And He shows you (always)\n His Signs: then which\n Of the Signs of God\n Will ye deny?\n82. Afalam yaseeroo fee al-ardi fayanthuroo kayfa kana AAaqibatu allatheena min qablihim kanoo akthara minhum waashadda quwwatan waatharan fee al-ardi fama aghna AAanhum ma kanoo yaksiboona\n82. Do they not travel through\n The earth and see what\n Was the End of those\n Before them? They were\n More numerous than these\n And superior in strength\n And in the traces\n (They have left) in the land:\n Yet all that they accomplished\n Was of no profit to them.\n83. Falamma jaat-hum rusuluhum bialbayyinati farihoo bima AAindahum mina alAAilmi wahaqa bihim ma kanoo bihi yastahzi-oona\n83. For when their apostles\n Came to them\n With Clear Signs, they exulted\n In such knowledge (and skill)\nAs they had; but\n That very (Wrath) at which\n They were wont to scoff\n Hemmed them in.\n84. Falamma raaw ba/sana qaloo amanna biAllahi wahdahu wakafarna bima kunna bihi mushrikeena\n84. But when they saw\n Our Punishment, they said:\n \"We believe in God,\u2014\n The One God\u2014and we\n Reject the partners we used\n To join with Him.\"\n85. Falam yaku yanfaAAuhum eemanuhum lamma raaw ba/sana sunnata Allahi allatee qad khalat fee AAibadihi wakhasira hunalika alkafiroona\n85. But their professing the Faith\n When they (actually) saw\n Our Punishment was not going\n To profit them.\n (Such has been) God's way\n Of dealing with His servants\n (From the most ancient times).\n And even thus did\n The rejecters of God\n Perish (utterly)!","title":"The Quran: S\u016bra XL.: M\u016b-min, or The Believer.: Section 9 (79-85)","type":"page"}
