Walaqad jaa ala firAAawna alnnuthuru\n41. To the People\n Of Pharaoh, too, aforetime,\n Came Warners (from God).\n42. Kaththaboo bi-ayatina kulliha faakhathnahum akhtha AAazeezin muqtadirin\n42. The (people) rejected all\n Our Signs; but We\n Seized them with such Penalty\n (As comes) from One\n Exalted in Power,\n Able to carry out His Will.\n43. Akuffarukum khayrun min ola-ikum am lakum baraatun fee alzzuburi\n43. Are your Unbelievers,\n (O Quraish), better than they?\n Or have ye an immunity\n In the Sacred Books?\n44. Am yaqooloona nahnu jameeAAun muntasirun\n44. Or do they say:\n \"We acting together\n Can defend ourselves\"?\n45. Sayuhzamu aljamAAu wayuwalloona alddubura\n45. Soon will their multitude\n Be put to flight,\n And they will show\n Their backs.\n46. Bali alssaAAatu mawAAiduhum waalssaAAatu adha waamarru\n46. Nay, the Hour (of Judgment)\n Is the time promised them\n (For their full recompense):\n And that Hour will be\n Most grievous and most bitter.\n47. Inna almujrimeena fee dalalin wasuAAurin\n47. Truly those in sin\n Are the ones\n Straying in mind, and mad.\n48. Yawma yushaboona fee alnnari AAala wujoohihim thooqoo massa saqara\n48. The Day they will be\n Dragged through the Fire\n On their faces, (they\n Will hear:) \"Taste ye\n The touch of Hell!\"\n49. Inna kulla shay-in khalaqnahu biqadarin\n49. Verily, all things\n Have We created\n In proportion and measure.\n50. Wama amruna illa wahidatun kalamhin bialbasari\n50. And Our Command\n Is but a single (Act),\u2014\n Like the twinkling\n Of an eye.\n51. Walaqad ahlakna ashyaAAakum fahal min muddakirin\n51. And (oft) in the past,\n Have We destroyed gangs\n Like unto you: then\n Is there any that\n Will receive admonition?\n52. Wakullu shay-in faAAaloohu fee alzzuburi\n52. All that they do\n Is noted in (their)\n Books (of Deeds):\n53. Wakullu sagheerin wakabeerin mustatarun\n53. Every matter, small and great,\n Is on record.\n54. Inna almuttaqeena fee jannatin wanaharin\n54. As to the Righteous,\n They will be in the midst\n Of Gardens and Rivers,\n55. Fee maqAAadi sidqin AAinda maleekin muqtadirin\n55.
