Yusabbihu lillahi ma fee alssamawati wama fee al-ardi almaliki alquddoosi alAAazeezi alhakeemi\n1. Whatever is\n In the heavens and\n On earth, doth declare\n The Praises and Glory\n Of God,\u2014the Sovereign,\n The Holy One, the Exalted\n In Might, the Wise.\n2. Huwa allathee baAAatha fee al-ommiyyeena rasoolan minhum yatloo AAalayhim ayatihi wayuzakkeehim wayuAAallimuhumu alkitaba waalhikmata wa-in kanoo min qablu lafee dalalin mubeenin\n2. It is He Who has sent\n Amongst the Unlettered\n An apostle from among\n Themselves, to rehearse\n To them His Signs,\n To sanctify them, and\n To instruct them in Scripture\n And Wisdom,\u2014although\nThey had been, before,\n In manifest error;\u2014\n3. Waakhareena minhum lamma yalhaqoo bihim wahuwa alAAazeezu alhakeemu\n3. As well as (to confer\n All these benefits upon)\n Others of them, who\n Have not already joined them:\n And He is Exalted\n In Might, Wise.\n4. Thalika fadlu Allahi yu/teehi man yashao waAllahu thoo alfadli alAAatheemi\n4. Such is the Bounty of God,\n Which He bestows\n On whom He will:\n And God is the Lord\n Of the highest bounty.\n5. Mathalu allatheena hummiloo alttawrata thumma lam yahmilooha kamathali alhimari yahmilu asfaran bi/sa mathalu alqawmi allatheena kaththaboo bi-ayati Allahi waAllahu la yahdee alqawma alththalimeena\n5. The similitude of those\n Who were charged\n With the (obligations\n Of the) Mosaic Law,\n But who subsequently failed\n In those (obligations), is\n That of a donkey\n Which carries huge tomes\n (But understands them not).\n Evil is the similitude\n Of people who falsify\n The Signs of God:\n And God guides not\n People who do wrong.\n6. Qul ya ayyuha allatheena hadoo in zaAAamtum annakum awliyao lillahi min dooni alnnasi fatamannawoo almawta in kuntum sadiqeena\n6. Say: \"O ye that\n Stand on Judaism!\nIf ye think that ye\n Are friends to God,\n To the exclusion of\n (Other) men, then express\n Your desire for Death,\n If ye are truthful!\"\n7. Wala yatamannawnahu abadan bima qaddamat aydeehim waAllahu AAaleemun bialththalimeena\n7. But never will they\n Express their desire\n (For Death), because of\n The (deeds) their hands\n Have sent on before them!\n And God knows well\n Those that do wrong!\n8. Qul inna almawta allathee tafirroona minhu fa-innahu mulaqeekum thumma turaddoona ila AAalimi alghaybi waalshshahadati fayunabbi-okum bima kuntum taAAmaloona\n8.
