Thy Lord doth know\n That thou standest forth\n (To prayer) nigh two-thirds\n Of the night, or half\nThe night, or a third\n Of the night, and so doth\n A party of those with thee.\n But God doth appoint Night\n And Day in due measure.\n He knoweth that ye are\n Unable to keep count thereof.\n So He hath turned to you\n (In mercy): read ye,\n Therefore, of the Qur-\u0101n\n As much as may be\n Easy for you. He knoweth\n That there may be (some)\n Among you in ill-health;\n Others travelling through the land,\n Seeking of God's bounty;\n Yet others fighting\n In God's Cause.
