Waalssama-i thati alburooji\n1. By the Sky, (displaying)\n The Zodiacal Signs;\n2. By the promised Day\n (Of Judgment);\n3. By one that witnesses,\n And the subject of the witness;\u2014\n4. Woe to the makers\n Of the pit (of fire),\n5. Fire supplied (abundantly)\n With Fuel:\n6. Behold! they sat\n Over against the (fire),\n7. Wahum AAala ma yafAAaloona bialmu/mineena shuhoodun\n7. And they witnessed\n (All) that they were doing\n Against the Believers.\n8. Wama naqamoo minhum illa an yu/minoo biAllahi alAAazeezi alhameedi\n8. And they ill-treated them\n For no other reason than\n That they believed in God,\n Exalted in Power,\n Worthy of all Praise!\u2014\n9. Allathee lahu mulku alssamawati waal-ardi waAllahu AAala kulli shay-in shaheedun\n9.\n10. Inna allatheena fatanoo almu/mineena waalmu/minati thumma lam yatooboo falahum AAathabu jahannama walahum AAathabu alhareeqi\n10. Those who persecute (or draw\n into temptation)\n The Believers, men and women,\n And do not turn\n In repentance, will have\n The Penalty of Hell:\n They will have the Penalty\n Of the Burning Fire.\n11. Inna allatheena amanoo waAAamiloo alssalihati lahum jannatun tajree min tahtiha al-anharu thalika alfawzu alkabeeru\n11. For those who believe\n And do righteous deeds,\n Will be Gardens,\n Beneath which Rivers flow:\n That is the great Salvation,\n (The fulfilment of all desires),\n12. Inna batsha rabbika lashadeedun\n12. Truly strong is the Grip\n (And Power) of thy Lord.\n13. Innahu huwa yubdi-o wayuAAeedu\n13. It is He Who creates\n From the very beginning,\n And He can restore (life).\n14. Wahuwa alghafooru alwadoodu\n14. And He is the Oft-Forgiving,\n Full of loving-kindness,\n15. Lord of the Throne of Glory,\n16. Doer (without let)\n Of all that He intends.\n17. Hal ataka hadeethu aljunoodi\n17. Has the story\n Reached thee,\n Of the Forces\u2014\n18. Of Pharaoh\n And the Tham\u016bd?\n19. Bali allatheena kafaroo fee taktheebin\n19. And yet the Unbelievers\n (Persist) in rejecting\n (The Truth)!\n20. WaAllahu min wara-ihim muheetun\n20.
