Whatever is\n In the heavens and\n On earth, let it declare\n The Praises and Glory\n Of God: for He is\n The Exalted in Might,\n The Wise.\n2. O ye who believe!\n Why say ye that\n Which ye do not?\n3. Grievously odious is it\n In the sight of God\n That ye say that\n Which ye do not.\n4. Truly God loves those\n Who fight in His Cause\n In battle array, as if\n They were a solid\n Cemented structure.\n5. And remember, Moses said\n To his people: \"O my people!\nWhy do ye vex and insult\n Me, though ye know\n That I am the apostle\n Of God (sent) to you?\"\n Then when they went wrong,\n God let their hearts go wrong.\n For God guides not those\n Who are rebellious transgressors.\n6. And remember, Jesus,\n The son of Mary, said:\n \"O Children of Israel!\n I am the apostle of God\n (Sent) to you, confirming\n The Law (which came)\n Before me, and giving\n Glad Tidings of an Apostle\n To come after me,\n Whose name shall be A\u1e25mad.\"\n But when he came to them\n With Clear Signs,\n They said, \"This is\n Evident sorcery!\"\n7. Who doth greater wrong\n Than one who invents\nFalsehood against God,\n Even as he is being invited\n To Isl\u0101m? And God\n Guides not those\n Who do wrong.\n8. Their intention is\n To extinguish God's Light\n (By blowing) with their mouths:\n But God will complete\n (The revelation of) His Light,\n Even though the Unbelievers\n May detest (it).\n9. It is He Who has sent\n His Apostle with Guidance\n And the Religion of Truth,\n That he may proclaim it\n Over all religion,\n Even though the Pagans\n May detest (it).\n10. O ye who believe!\n Shall I lead you\n To a bargain that will\n Save you from\n A grievous Penalty?\u2014\n11. That ye believe in God\n And His Apostle, and that\n Ye strive (your utmost)\n In the Cause of God,\n With your property\n And your persons:\n That will be best for you,\n If ye but knew!\n12. He will forgive you\n Your sins, and admit you\n To Gardens beneath which\n Rivers flow, and to beautiful\n Mansions in Gardens\n Of Eternity: that is indeed\n The supreme Achievement.\n13. And another (favour\n Will He bestow), which ye\n Do love,\u2014help from God\n And a speedy victory.\n So give the Glad Tidings\n To the Believers.\n14. O ye who believe!\n Be ye helpers of God:\n As said Jesus the son of Mary\n To the Disciples, \"Who will be\n My helpers to (the work\n Of) God?\" Said the Disciples,\n\"We are God's helpers!\"\n Then a portion of the Children\n Of Israel believed, and\n A portion disbelieved:\n But We gave power\n To those who believed,\n Against their enemies,\n And they became\n The ones that prevailed.","title":"The Holy Quran: S\u016bra LXI. \u1e62aff, or Battle Array.","type":"page"}
