2The father sows the genial seed, the woman tends and fosters it.
This is the finding of a son: thus hath Prajāpati declared.
3Prajāpati, Anumati, Sinivāli have ordered it.
Elsewhere may he effect the birth of maids, but here prepare a
boy.
